I just heard on NPR that aborted fetal cells are NOT in vaccines ( Oh THEY Say ITS A LIE ) ... well maybe not in the vaccine ,,, but they are used in the production of vaccines ... they are the "cell lines"  grown and used for the media that the viruses are grown in ...

We have developed a new HDCS, Walvax-2, which we derived from the lung tissue of a 3-month-old fetus. We established primary, master and working cell banks successfully from reconstituted frozen cells. Observations during the concurrent propagation of Walvax-2 and MRC-5 cells revealed differences in terms of growth rate, cell viability and viral sensitivities.
...
Furthermore, in order to characterize the Walvax-2 cell banks, a series of tests including cell identification, chromosomal characterization, tumorigenicity, as well as tests for the presence of microbial agents, exogenous viruses, and retroviruses, were conducted according to standard international protocols. In conclusion, results from this study show that Walvax-2 cell banks are a promising cell substrate and could potentially be used for the manufacturing of HDCVs.

New Human Fetal Cell Lines Available for Vaccine Production
Posted: 1/15/2018 11:59:35 AM

Human cells from the tissue of aborted fetuses have been used in vaccines since the 1960s, and currently they are used in 11 vaccines.

Aborted human fetal cell cultures are used for growing viruses, which are then used in the preparation of inactivated and live virus vaccines. They may also be grown on chick embryos or cells from different animals and bugs, such as army worms.

A study published in 2015 in the journal Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics confirms that in addition to the two primary cell cultures that have been used for more than half a century to make hundreds of millions of doses, a third aborted human fetal cell culture may be used. Called Walvax-2, it has been assessed as a culture for growing rabies, hepatitis, and varicella viruses.

Source tissue for this new cell line was obtained from nine fetuses provided by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Yunnan Hospital in China. Relatively little additional information about Walvax-2 is available from public sources. It is not clear how the name was derived, what government agency or company is leading the research, or the possible application of the cell line to vaccine production.

Use of Aborted Fetal Tissue in Vaccines and Medical Research Obscures the Value of All Human Life
Kyle Christopher McKenna, PhD

Abstract

This opinion addresses the licitness, quasi-benefits, and consequences of using aborted fetal tissue in vaccines and in medical research. The Catholic Church permits temporary use of vaccines generated using aborted fetal tissue to protect children from preventable diseases until alternative vaccines that do not use aborted fetal tissue are available. In medical research, cell lines that were generated from elective abortions should be avoided and alternative cell lines of licit origin utilized. The association between in utero Zika virus infections and microcephaly has increased the demand for fetal tissue to establish causality and to understand disease progression. These studies require extensive oversight as they could directly encourage elective abortions. The consequence of the use of fetal tissue from elective abortions is desensitization of beneficiaries to the original illicit act of abortion thereby obscuring the value of all human life and potentially leading to scandal.

Summary: The use of fetal tissue from elective abortions is commonplace in the pharmaceutical industry and in medical research. This opinion addresses the illicitness, quasi-benefits, and consequences of using fetal tissue from elective abortions in vaccines and in medical research. All people of good conscience have the responsibility to voice opposition to the use of fetal tissue from elective abortions in order to promote development of alternatives, affirm the value of all human life and limit scandal.

Fetal Tissue from Elective Abortions in Vaccines

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends fifteen different vaccines for children to induce protection against several viral and bacterial infections that are causes of morbidity and mortality (American Academy of Pediatrics 2016). Three of these vaccines, M-M-R-II (Merck 2016a), VARIVAX (Merck 2016b), and HAVRIX (Glaxo Smith Kline 2016) utilize cell lines WI-38 or MRC-5 that were derived from fetal tissues (Wong 2006) harvested from elective abortions in the 1960s to generate the attenuated viruses used in these immunizations for rubella (M-M-R-II), varicella (VARIVAX), or hepatitis A (HAVRIX). The efficacy of these vaccines has been clearly demonstrated.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vero_cell
Vero cells are a lineage of cells used in cell cultures.[1] The 'Vero' lineage was isolated from kidney epithelial cells extracted from an African green monkey (Chlorocebus sp.; formerly called Cercopithecus aethiops, this group of monkeys has been split into several different species). The lineage was developed on 27 March 1962, by Yasumura and Kawakita at the Chiba University in Chiba, Japan.[2] The original cell line was named "Vero" after an abbreviation of verda reno, which means "green kidney" in Esperanto, while vero itself means "truth" in Esperanto.[3]

Many cell lines that are widely used for biomedical research have been contaminated and overgrown by other, more aggressive cells. For example, supposed thyroid lines were actually melanoma cells, supposed prostate tissue was actually bladder cancer, and supposed normal uterine cultures were actually breast cancer.

Vero cells are highly susceptible to many viruses in humans and animals, and its membrane proteins (MPs) are responsible for virus entry.

The Vero lineage was isolated from kidney epithelial cells extracted from an African green monkey (Yasumura and Kawakita, 1963). African green monkey kidney (Vero) cells have been proven to be highly susceptible to many viruses in humans and animals, such as coronaviruses, and are widely used for the primary isolation and cultivation of the Vero-infected viruses and novel viruses (Ozaki et al., 2004; Pan et al., 2012; Zhou et al., 2012; Cheng et al., 2013; Vlecken et al., 2013). The virus entry-associated proteins on the surface of target cells are important basic information for designing the prevention and treatment strategies of the viral diseases. At present, there is no detailed information for addressing virus entry-associated proteins in Vero cells.

Derived from the kidney of an African green monkey (Cercopithecus aethiops) in the 1960s, Vero cells are one of the most common mammalian continuous cell lines used in research.

In addition, Vero cells have been licensed in the United States for production of both live (rotavirus, smallpox) and inactivated (poliovirus) viral vaccines, and throughout the world Vero cells have been used for the production of a number of other viruses, including Rabies virus, Reovirus and Japanese encephalitis virus. The protocols outlined in this appendix detail procedures for the routine growth and maintenance of Vero cells in a research laboratory setting. There are several lines of Vero cells commercially available (i.e., Vero, Vero 76, Vero E6), but they were all ultimately derived from the same source, and the protocols in this unit can be used with any line of Vero cells.

Few back then grasped that these vaccines might also be a huge, inadvertent, uncontrolled experiment in interspecies viral transmission. But from 1955 to 1963, according to a 1976 US National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded study, 98 million Americans alone probably were exposed to polio vaccines contaminated with SV40—a monkey virus that can cause cancers in animals. Now, a July 7 report in New Scientist has raised fears that hundreds of millions of eastern Europeans, Asians, and Africans also may have been exposed to SV40 in Soviet-made polio vaccines. Michele Carbone of Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago, USA, announced at the 2004 Vaccine Cell Substrates meeting (Rockville, MD) that the Soviet vaccine could have been contaminated until the 1980s. This is worrying since, despite 44 years of medical debate, epidemiological studies have yet to establish conclusively whether SV40 has or hasn't caused cancers in people.

Vaccines Developed Using Human Cell Strains

"Merck, as well as other vaccine manufacturers, uses two well-established human cell lines to grow the virus for selected vaccines," Merck said in a statement to ABC News. "The FDA has approved the use of these cell lines for the production of these Merck vaccines."

Other common vaccines, including those for chicken pox, hepatitis and rabies, are also propagated in cells originating from legally aborted human fetuses, according to the FDA.

"These abortions, which occurred decades ago, were not undertaken with the intent of producing vaccines," said a spokeswoman for the U.S. Centers Disease Control and Prevention.

The original cells were obtained more than 50 years ago and have been maintained under strict federal guidelines by the American Type Culture Collection, according to Merck.

"These cell lines are now more than three generations removed from their origin, and we have not used any new tissue to produce these vaccines," the company added in its statement.

To say that the vaccines contain a significant amount of human fetal tissue, as some objectors to the vaccines claim, is misleading, stressed Dr. Paul Offit, the director of the vaccine education center at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Offit said he was glad the Catholic Church supports vaccination.

SV-40 has been passed on to sexual partners and their children :

https://www.chop.edu/centers-programs/vaccine-education-center/vaccine-ingredients/sv40

People with cancers who were born after SV40 was no longer a contaminant of the polio vaccine were found to have evidence for SV40 in their cancerous cells.

http://viewzone.com/sv40x.html

...

This happy story of medical marvel has a deadly glitch. And it is especially deadly if, like me, you received your vaccinations in the 1950s, in certain states like Massachusetts.

In 1960, researchers discovered that the polio vaccine distributed to certain states was infected with another virus called "Simian Virus 40." SV-40 is a monkey virus that is not normally found in humans. Unknown at the time, it was present in hundreds of rhesus monkeys that were used to grow and harvest the polio vaccine. Injected into research animals, the SV-40 virus causes brain and lung cancers. Now, some forty years later, its effect on humans is just being investigated.

"SV-40 has appeared in 61% of all new cancer patients -- patients too young to have received the contaminated vaccine being administered forty years ago!"
...
SV-40 also has been found in 23% of blood samples and 45% of sperm fluids taken from normal individuals! Researchers have determined the SV-40 virus can be transmitted sexually and through blood transfusions.

Barry Diller Says Amazon "Not A Monopoly", Dismisses Quarterly Guidance As "Dumbass" Work
Fri, 06/05/2020 - 13:31

Less than a day after Tesla CEO Elon Musk accused Amazon of being a monopoly and called for its breakup,
Expedia Chairman Barry Diller said he disagreed with Musk's assessment, but agreed that 'smart' regulations are probably warranted for tech giants, including another heavyweight that probably more closely resembles a monopoly.

That company, Diller says, is Google parent Alphabet, which Diller implied might someday obtain "monopoly status."
