Patients could soon wear sensors made of ultra-sensitive silk allowing doctors to monitor them remotely.

The durable and flexible fabric works better than a semi-conductor materials usually used.
Scientists are working to boost its conductivity to measure everything from heart rate to brain waves and blood sugar.

Dr Yingying Zhang, of Chna's Tsinghua University, said :
"There's a whole world of possibilities".
