TrumpCare dies, XL flies
and the Secret Winner is…

Greg Palast

www.gregpalast.com/gets-xl-pipeline-bonanza-koch/

When RyanCare-TrumpCare finally ended up face-down in the swimming pool, triumphalist Democrats whooped and partied and congratulated themselves on defeating the Trump-Ryan monstrosity.

But deep in their counting house, counting their gold, three brothers cackled with private jubilation.

David and Charles Koch knew the day was theirs.

Joining them in the celebration was Brother Billy, William Koch, who will share in their $21 billion windfall that the President arranged for them only hours before TrumpCare crashed—when Trump announced his State Department had formally approved the Keystone XL Pipeline.

BY JULIÁN AGUILAR  APRIL 14, 2017  11:16 AM

A private-prison company that has for years been in the crosshairs of immigrant rights groups announced Thursday it will build a $110 million detention complex in the Houston metro area.

The Florida-based GEO Group said in a news release its new facility will be built in the city of Conroe as part of a 10-year, renewable contract with federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The detention center will be finished toward the end of 2018, the company said. The Associated Press first reported the story.

“We are very appreciative of the continued confidence placed in our company by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement,” George C. Zoley, GEO’s chairman and CEO said in a statement. The company expects the new facility to generate the firm about $44 million in yearly revenue.

Immigrant advocacy groups said the move signals the beginning of President Trump’s efforts to expand detentions and begin fast-tracking the deportations of millions of undocumented immigrants in the country. Part of the president's Jan. 25 executive order on immigration instructed the Department of Homeland Security to increase bed space for undocumented immigrants subject to removal.

“We’re not surprised, but we are deeply disappointed that the administration is not only lining the pockets of the private-prison industry but expanding detention,” said Bob Libal, the executive director for Grassroots Leadership, an Austin-based immigrant rights and private-prison watchdog group.

Neither the Conroe mayor's office nor the city secretary’s office immediately responded to an email seeking comment on the announcement Friday, and officials with those offices were not reachable by phone.

The new facility will add to the GEO Group’s heavy presence in Texas. The company’s website lists more than a dozen facilities it operates in the state. They range from smaller local jails used mainly by the U.S. Marshals Service to larger immigration-detention complexes near the border.

GEO Group was involved in a lengthy legal battle last year after Grassroots Leadership filed a lawsuit to prevent the company’s Karnes City facility from being licensed as a child-care facility by state officials. The center houses hundreds of women and children that were part of the surge of undocumented immigrants from Central America who began arriving to Texas in record numbers four years ago.

The child-care facility licensing has been necessary since 2015, when U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee ordered that immigrants held in Texas and elsewhere should be released because their detention violates the provisions of a 1997 settlement — the Flores v. Meese agreement — that requires undocumented juveniles be held in facilities that protect their health and safety.

A state district judge denied the state the ability to issue the licenses, but the facility continues to operate as a temporary processing center, Libal said.

Here's a hint:  If you don't think American citizens are going to end up here, you are sadly, sadly mistaken.

America's Private Prisons Are Back in Business
January 10, 2017, 5:00 AM EST

In the hardscrabble desert hamlet of Milan, New Mexico, incarceration is the biggest game in town.

Not far from Interstate 40, among fragrant sage and creosote bushes, stands a sprawling outpost of CoreCivic Inc., one of America’s biggest for-profit prison companies. The 1,200-bed facility, formerly a lockup for car thieves and drug dealers, is being transformed into a detention center for immigrants fleeing Mexico and Central America. It will be opening just as Donald Trump becomes president.

Immigrants are a growth business for Milan and the U.S. prison-industrial complex. Trump’s pledge to clamp down on illegal immigration and deport millions has given the private-prison industry its biggest boost in years. Since the Republican was elected, CoreCivic stock has jumped 78 percent. Rival private-prison company Geo Group Inc., is up 53 percent. (continued)

Attorney General Jeff Sessions signals support for private prisons
http://www.wtae.com/article/attorney-general-jeff-sessions-signals-support-for-private-prisons/8972511
Updated: 5:32 PM EST Feb 23, 2017

Attorney General Jeff Sessions signaled Thursday his strong support for the federal government's continued use of private prisons, reversing an Obama administration directive to phase out their use. Stocks of major private prison companies rose at the news.

Sessions issued a memo replacing one issued last August by Sally Yates, the deputy attorney general at the time. That memo directed the federal Bureau of Prisons to begin reducing and ultimately end its reliance on privately run prisons.

It followed a Justice Department audit that said private facilities have more safety and security problems than government-run ones. Yates, in her announcement, said they were less necessary given declines in the overall federal prison population.

But Sessions, in his memo, said Yates' directive went against longstanding Justice Department policy and practice and "impaired the Bureau's ability to meet the future needs of the federal correctional system." He said he was directing the BOP to "return to its previous approach."

The federal prison population — now just under 190,000 — has been dropping due in part to changes in federal sentencing policies over the past three years. Private prisons hold about 22,100 of these inmates, or 12 percent of the total population, the Justice Department has said.

The federal government started to rely on private prisons in the late 1990s because of overcrowding. Many of the federal prison inmates in private facilities are foreign nationals who are being held on immigration offenses. The Yates policy did not extend to prisons used by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which hold tens of thousands of immigrants awaiting deportation.

Immigration and human rights advocates have long complained about conditions in privately run prisons. An inspector general audit from last August said problems at private prisons in recent years included property damage, injuries and the death of a corrections officer.

There 300,000 new beds being built by private prisons.
We're in a police state - marijuana MUST remain illegal to fill all those beds.
Non-violent drug offenders are the easiest prisoners to catch and put in cages.
We pay TAX DOLLARS to feed, clothe, shelter these people - and more TAXES to take their children into DCS (and God help them), then we pay more TAX DOLLARS to support these people when they get released, because they frequently can't get a job (mandatory requirement to disclose criminal records), can't get driver's licenses, housing, and often they can't get their children back.
Big business: Trump is all for business.

Trump's self-imposed cybersecurity deadline is up: What we got?
Quick clue: President Snowflake is a compulsive liar
https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/04/20/trumps_cybersecurity_deadline_is_up/

Analysis On January 6, president-elect Donald Trump had a meeting with the heads of the intelligence services and came out with one action point: cybersecurity.

"Whether it is our government, organizations, associations or businesses we need to aggressively combat and stop cyberattacks," an official statement read. "I will appoint a team to give me a plan within 90 days of taking office. The methods, tools and tactics we use to keep America safe should not be a public discussion that will benefit those who seek to do us harm."

A week later, he named former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani as his cybersecurity tsar (despite a total lack of relevant experience). Two weeks later he became president of the United States; 90 days later is today. So where is the cybersecurity team and plan?

It's hard to tell, but based on some shoe-leather reporting by Politico the answer seems to be: absolutely nowhere.

The cybersecurity focus did seem to be there at the start of the Trump presidency. Only a week after taking office, a draft cybersecurity executive order was leaked to the Washington Post.

That order largely followed the Obama Administration's view of cyberspace: it's a vital national resource and a source of economic value and the government should actively ensure its security.

Where it differed was that it took a more authoritarian view of the internet and suggested new legal powers would be given to government agencies over what is overwhelmingly a privately owned network.

I read that this morning and wondered what you thought about it. It seems that he could not get any specific deal with Germany, unless he went through EU. Explains, perhaps, his obvious annoyance with Merkel.

I voted for Trump. After Syria, I feel betrayed
http://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-raimondo-trump-betrayal-antiwar-20170421-story.html
By Justin Raimondo
4/21/17

I voted for Donald Trump because he promised to pursue a new foreign policy. As he said in December, “We will stop looking to topple regimes and overthrow governments. Our goal is stability, not chaos, because we want to rebuild our country.” He vowed to appoint those with “new approaches, and practical ideas, rather than surrounding myself with those who have perfect résumés but very little to brag about except responsibility for a long history of failed policies.”

After decades of disastrous interventions, Trump inspired me. But less than 100 days into his administration, I’m feeling the sting of betrayal. In recent weeks, Trump and his surrogates have abandoned virtually every foreign policy stance he took during the campaign.

He launched missiles against the regime of Syrian strongman Bashar Assad — mere months after telling the New York Times: “I thought the approach of fighting Assad and [Islamic State] simultaneously was madness, and idiocy.” Now Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is saying Assad must go, a clear indication that the Trump administration is “looking to topple regimes and overthrow governments.”

In another interview with the New York Times, Trump declared NATO “obsolete,” explaining, “When NATO was formed many decades ago we were a different country. There was a different threat.” Now we are told that “NATO is no longer obsolete.” Stay tuned for the Trump administration’s campaign to bring back Betamax.

"Trump’s appointees are now echoing the
Washington policy wonks who want to start a new Cold War."

“Wouldn’t it be nice,” Trump often said, “if we could get along with Russia?” This was music to my ears: finally a Republican candidate who wasn’t locked into a Cold War mentality. Yet, Trump’s appointees are now echoing the Washington policy wonks who want to start a new Cold War.

H.R. McMaster, Trump’s national security advisor, claims the Russians are engaged in a campaign of global “subversion.” Tillerson, during his recent visit to Moscow, denounced Russia’s alleged “interference” in the 2016 election — an echo of the Democrats’ unproved claim that the Kremlin colluded with his boss.

As Trump threatens to go to war with North Korea — which would spell doom for the 38,000 American troops stationed on the Korean peninsula — I am reminded of his comments on our military commitments in the region: “There is going to be a point at which we just can’t do this anymore .… At some point, we cannot be the policeman of the world …. f we are attacked, [Japan doesn’t] have to do anything. If they’re attacked, we have to go out with full force …. That’s a pretty one-sided agreement.”

I’m not alone in feeling betrayed.

Ann Coulter, author of “In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome,” wrote recently that “Trump’s Syrian misadventure is immoral, violates every promise he ran on, and could sink his presidency.” At Breitbart News, the online headquarters of the Trump insurgency, a piece about the Syria attacks attracted more than 50,000 ferociously negative comments.

Pat Buchanan, the ideological godfather of Trumpism, despaired that “the promise of a Trump presidency … appears, not 100 days in, to have been a mirage. Will more wars make America great again?” A baffled Laura Ingraham tweeted, "Missiles flying. Rubio's happy. McCain ecstatic. Hillary's on board. A complete policy change in 48 hrs."

Talk radio host Michael Savage complains that “People in Trump’s own sphere are turning him toward the beating war drums.” Nigel Farage, the leader of the Brexit forces in Britain who campaigned for Trump in the U.S., opined that the president’s supporters “will be scratching their heads” at these foreign policy reversals.

It’s the same sad story on the domestic front.

Instead of repealing Obamacare, Trump pushed what the House Freedom Caucus dubbed “Obamacare lite.” Trump the campaigner denounced both Hillary Clinton and Ted Cruz as pawns of Goldman Sachs; as president, he’s appointed several Goldman Sachs executives to top spots in his administration.

Not long ago, he told Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet L. Yellen — whose visage was featured in a negative ad that ran in the last week of the campaign — that “she should be ashamed of herself,” accusing her of politicizing the Fed and creating “a very false economy.” Now he says he’s open to reappointing her.

The liberal media are thrilled by Trump’s transformation: The chorus of gushing praise on CNN and MSNBC as bombs fell on Syria was loud and practically unanimous. And Trump is reciprocating: Last week at a White House event honoring first responders, he characterized the media as “honorable people.” Remember when he called them out as “the world’s most dishonest people”? Ah, those were the good old days!

And while Trump praises his enemies, he denigrates his loyal friends, openly downgrading Stephen K. Bannon, the architect of his victory, as just “someone who works for me.”

As the elites rush to embrace the president, those of us who supported him are horrified, angry and increasingly convinced that instead of draining the swamp, Trump has jumped headlong into it.

Justin Raimondo is editorial director of Antiwar.com and author of “Reclaiming the American Right: The Lost Legacy of the Conservative Movement."

According to Paul Watson, just being a Trump supporter is now synonymous with being 'red-pilled'.

As for Alex Jones, he does not deserve a pass because he has personal issues. We all have personal stuff do deal with, but this does not excuse us from competently doing our jobs.

Of course, Alex Jones has been and is competently doing his job, but it's not what his supporters think it is.

Well there is another aspect, in that Alex Jones has always been Paleo-Conservative with the odd selected Libertarian talking points.
In the past, that never caused any problems because no mainstream electable politician ticked any of AJ's boxes.

Trump came along and said what Jones wanted to hear.

Trump on NATO: ‘I said it was obsolete. It’s no longer obsolete.’

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2017/04/12/trump-on-nato-i-said-it-was-obsolete-its-no-longer-obsolete/

President Trump on Wednesday pledged his full support to NATO, reaffirming the United States' commitment to the alliance and saying he no longer considers it “obsolete,” a sharp reversal from his rhetoric on the campaign trail and during his first weeks in office.

On a day when Trump dramatically changed his stance on several policy positions, his statement about NATO stood out given his consistent criticism of the military alliance and its importance to U.S. allies.

For more than a year, Trump has said NATO is outdated and costing the United States too much money, suggesting replacing it with an alternative organization focused on counterterrorism and repeatedly using the word “obsolete.” As recently as January, Trump continued to stand by this position — which alarmed many NATO members — saying in a Jan. 15 interview with the Times of London and Germany’s Bild that NATO is “obsolete because it wasn’t taking care of terror” and that critics of his comments have “started saying Trump is right.”

Watson seems to have retreated from reality into the Planet Kek.

Well there is another aspect, in that Alex Jones has always been Paleo-Conservative with the odd selected Libertarian talking points.
In the past, that never caused any problems because no mainstream electable politician ticked any of AJ's boxes.

Trump came along and said what Jones wanted to hear.

Anywayz......
I take it you think Jones simply sold out ?
To whom do you think he sold out ?

I don't think he sold out as such, or rather there was likely no smoke-filled room and piles of used bills after which Jones was their bitch. It was more likely what Alan Watt used to talk about, which is media personalities being allowed into positions of influence to be 'themselves', and when that persona or set of views needed to be adjusted, it would be.

I see and it makes sense.

Any thoughts on how his audience 'demographic' might have changed with this whole Trump thing ?
Could that also be a factor ?

If history is any indicator,  it will take years after Trump leaves the White House for some of the people who support him to admit that he is not who he pretends to be.  It was well into end of Obama's first term and beginning of the second that the everyday neo-conservatives voiced their disgust for George W Bush and his family.  The Trump Presidency is furthering dividing what is left of the Truth Movement.  I never thought that I would hear people in the 9/11 Truth movement say that Saudi Arabia and radical jihadist were responsible for 9/11.

I stayed home disgust on election day, and encouraged others to do likewise.

Nevertheless, as disgusted as I am with the Trump administration, I remain convinced that Hillary would have been even worse.

That's why I think it's unfair to lump those who merely voted for Trump as the lesser of two evils in the same category as those who fell hook, line and sinker for Trump's campaign rhetoric with the same degree of gullibility that millions of anti-war liberals fell for Obama's campaign rhetoric in 2008.

"Making America great again" was merely Trump's version of "hope and change."

Some of those who voted for him realized this; others either did not or would not.

Some people will equate this as if it was Kissinger on the other end of the phone. Unfortunately, from what I can gather, in America the Alt-Media has given Murdock a free ride, the gift of immunity as he runs Right wing Fox. That alone ought to be a lesson in why to avoid Petty Political Parties. If they could look outside in the bigger world, they would know that Murdock also put Tony Blair and his Socialist Labour Party into power, and kept them in Power....

To keep it simple, there could be no great conspiracy without control of the news.

Candidate Trump: ‘I Love Wikileaks.’ President Trump: ‘Arrest Assange!’
Written by Ron Paul
Monday April 24, 2017
http://ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2017/april/24/candidate-trump-i-love-wikileaks-president-trump-arrest-assange/

“I love Wikileaks,” candidate Donald Trump said on October 10th on the campaign trail. He praised the organization for reporting on the darker side of the Hillary Clinton campaign. It was information likely leaked by a whistleblower from within the Clinton campaign to Wikileaks.

Back then he praised Wikileaks for promoting transparency, but candidate Trump looks less like President Trump every day. The candidate praised whistleblowers and Wikileaks often on the campaign trail. In fact, candidate Trump loved Wikileaks so much he mentioned the organization more than 140 times in the final month of the campaign alone! Now, as President, it seems Trump wants Wikileaks founder Julian Assange sent to prison.

Last week CNN reported, citing anonymous “intelligence community” sources, that the Trump Administration’s Justice Department was seeking the arrest of Assange and had found a way to charge the Wikileaks founder for publishing classified information without charging other media outlets such as the New York Times and Washington Post for publishing the same information.

It might have been tempting to write off the CNN report as “fake news,” as is much of their reporting, but for the fact President Trump said in an interview on Friday that issuing an arrest warrant for Julian Assange would be, “OK with me.”

Trump’s condemnation of Wikileaks came just a day after his CIA Director, Michael Pompeo, attacked Wikileaks as a “hostile intelligence service.” Pompeo accused Assange of being “a fraud — a coward hiding behind a screen.”

Pompeo’s word choice was no accident. By accusing Wikileaks of being a “hostile intelligence service” rather than a publisher of information on illegal and abusive government practices leaked by whistleblowers, he signaled that the organization has no First Amendment rights. Like many in Washington, he does not understand that the First Amendment is a limitation on government rather than a granting of rights to citizens. Pompeo was declaring war on Wikileaks.

But not that long ago Pompeo also cited Wikileaks as an important source of information. In July he drew attention to the Wikileaks release of information damaging to the Clinton campaign, writing, “Need further proof that the fix was in from President Obama on down?”

There is a word for this sudden about-face on Wikileaks and the transparency it provides us into the operations of the prominent and powerful: hypocrisy.

The Trump Administration’s declaration of war on whistleblowers and Wikileaks is one of the greatest disappointments in these first 100 days. Donald Trump rode into the White House with promises that he would “drain the swamp,” meaning that he would overturn the apple carts of Washington’s vested interests. By unleashing those same vested interests on those who hold them in check – the whistleblowers and those who publish their revelations – he has turned his back on those who elected him.

Julian Assange, along with the whistleblowers who reveal to us the evil that is being done in our name, are heroes. They deserve our respect and admiration, not a prison cell. If we allow this president to declare war on those who tell the truth, we have only ourselves to blame.

Trump’s Neocon Conversion Almost Complete
Kurt Nimmo
http://anotherdayintheempire.com/trumps-neocon-conversion-almost-complete/

Robert Wenzel posted a disturbing development on his blog today.

Bush neocon Paul Wolfowitz has given Trump and his generals the thumbs up.

Wenzel cites Susan Glasser at Politico:

Quote
Iraq might descend into “chaotic violence”—or worse. The broader Middle East could “go to hell” all over again.

If the United States doesn’t step up under President Donald Trump, Paul Wolfowitz warns in a new interview for The Global POLITICO, our weekly podcast on world affairs in the Trump era, it would represent an “opportunity” blown, a missed chance that would result in “lost American influence” and a win for “hostile actors.”

Wolfowitz, a hawkish Republican known as the architect of the Iraq war for his role in advocating President George W. Bush’s 2003 invasion, rarely wades back into the public fray these days over the troubled Middle East, and he insists he’s well aware that the American political consensus—in both parties—is now very much against deepening involvement in the region. “I don’t think we’re up to heroic ventures in the Middle East,” he tells me.

Yet Wolfowitz has not entirely given up on the idea that the United States is essential to stability in a region that has seen very little of it. Without American involvement, for instance, he fears Iraq could splinter apart entirely. “The alternative is to let a very important, critical part of the world go to hell literally and lose American influence,” he says. “We may not like to talk about oil, but this is the engine of the world economy and if it’s dominated by the wrong people, the consequences here in the United States are very serious.”

To liberals and other critics, Wolfowitz would be the last person they want Trump to listen to. Long a lightning rod because of the havoc unleashed by the Iraq invasion, Wolfowitz has never apologized for advocating the war, although he has said—and repeated in our conversation—that it was not carried out as he would have wanted it to be. In recent days he‘s jumped right back into the public debate, nudging President Trump from the pages of the Wall Street Journal to follow up his bombing strike in neighboring Syria with more aggressive action—and, he tells me, privately emailing with Trump Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and national security advisor H.R. McMaster, both longtime contacts since his Bush days, in hopes they will pursue a U.S. strategy of stepped-up engagement in the Middle East. (Emphasis in original.)

Repeat that last sentence and let the reality of it sink in: the war criminal Wolfowitz—who helped start a war based on fabrications and outright lies that ultimately resulted in the murder of over a million people—is in contact with H.R. McMaster and James Mad Dog Mattis.

I sincerely feel sorry for the Trump chumps who naively believed the reality TV show narcissist turned president would end the wars and take America back to the sanity of noninterventionism.

It didn’t take a lot to realize this wouldn’t be the case.

After all, Trump said he would”bomb the shit” out of the Middle East, steal Iraqi and Syrian oil, waterboard and torture terror suspects, kill their families (he has thus far kept the latter promise), and put the neocon killing machine into high gear.

Now team Trump is taking advice from a guy who—in a sane world—would be warming a seat at the Hague.

The genius behind the smash hit  "Art of the Deal" Mr Donald Dunce Trump

Angela Merkel reportedly had to explain the 'fundamentals' of EU trade to Trump 11 times
http://www.businessinsider.com/trump-trade-merkel-germany-eu-2017-4/

President Trump did not understand that the US cannot negotiate a trade deal with Germany alone and must deal with the European Union as a bloc, a senior German official told The Times of London.  "Ten times Trump asked [German chancellor Angela Merkel] if he could negotiate a trade deal with Germany. Every time she replied, 'You can’t do a trade deal with Germany, only the EU,'" the official said.

They continued: "On the eleventh refusal, Trump finally got the message, 'Oh, we’ll do a deal with Europe then.'"

Merkel reportedly told her cabinet members that Trump had "very basic misunderstandings" on the "fundamentals" of the EU and trade.

How Trump gave up on his border wall
By Gareth Icke
26 April 2017
https://www.davidicke.com/article/410094/trump-gave-border-wall

‘One reliable way to know that Donald Trump has reversed himself on an issue is if he denies having done any such thing.

The pattern repeats itself: his Administration is dealt a major setback—the courts blocking his travel bans, the G.O.P. health-care bill dying in the House—and Trump responds by decreeing that “great progress” is being made and the media is neglecting to cover it.

Read more: How Trump gave up on his border wall

It’s easy to become inured to how bizarre this is: America has a President who denies observable reality and uses his social-media accounts to feed his supporters an alternate version of the truth. All politicians spin. Trump lies, regularly and brazenly.

Hey, I’m a nationalist and a globalist

Mr. Trump dismissed talk about a split inside his White House between aides with a nationalist or globalist orientation. “Hey, I’m a nationalist and a globalist,” he said. “I’m both. Trump the Nationalist Globalist
April 28, 2017
Kurt Nimmo
http://anotherdayintheempire.com/trump-nationalist-globalist/

It’s time for the alt-right, Matt Drudge, Breitbart, Alex Jones, and the rest who put Donald Trump in the White House to answer a simple question.

How can a president be both a nationalist and globalist at the same time?

“Hey, I’m a nationalist and a globalist,” said Trump. “I’m both. And I’m the only one who makes the decision, believe me.”

"I'm a nationalist and a globalist," President Trump told the WSJ on Thursday https://t.co/5Wx5GDFejk

    — Paul Beckett (@paulwsj) April 28, 2017

Trump made this contradictory claim after promising to dump the NAFTA “free trade” agreement that has decimated the industrial base of America and shipped jobs to Mexico, China, and other third world hellholes.

Remember the so-called Carrier deal? Trump used it to say he will save American jobs. It turned out to be a scam. The company was promised a $7-million state tax break from Indiana over 10 years to keep 730 jobs with no guarantee the jobs will be around in a decade. It was billed as a bold move to stop corporations from moving jobs offshore. It’s nothing but a cruel joke.

During the campaign, Trump criticized “a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class, stripped our country of its wealth and put that money into the pockets of a handful of large corporations and political entities.”

After taking office, Trump staffed his administration with Goldman Sachs banksters and gave his trademark thumbs-up to the export-import bank, which hands over taxpayer money to corporatists so they can sell their products overseas.

Remarkably, some people claimed Trump is a libertarian.

Donald Trump is a classic crony capitalist. We knew this well before the November election. He used state and local governments in New York and Connecticut to get preferential treatment for his business. He even tried to steal land from a widow under the under the guise of “eminent domain.” Trump wanted the state of New York to prevent the construction of a casino because it would have competed with his casino interests.

Trump obviously agrees with John D. Rockefeller, who proclaimed “competition is a sin.”

Trump changes his mind on Export-Import Bank. The crony capitalist president. Boeing and General Electric celebrate. https://t.co/hrsCuNGoyc

    — Kurt Nimmo (@kurt_nimmo) April 13, 2017

Some of us saw this coming. It was obvious from the start the former Democrat and golf buddy of Bill Clinton said whatever came to mind in order to get elected. Like all sociopaths and narcissists, he is a pathological liar. The naivety of those who said he is a champion of the American worker and the little guy is nothing short of astounding.

Trump insisted he is a noninterventionist, and yet after taking office he bombed Iraq and Yemen, killing hundreds. It was obvious he would do this. He said during the campaign he would steal Iraq and Syria’s oil and “bomb the shit” out of the Islamic State. He advocated torture and said the families of suspected terrorists should be killed.

Donald Trump is a liar but then this is normal behavior for the political class. They not only lie to us and we accept it with little complaint, they also engage in psychopathic behavior under the guise of Make America Great Again.

President Trump Now Declares: “I’m a nationalist *and* a globalist”
http://www.ronpaullibertyreport.com/archives/president-trump-now-declares-im-a-nationalist-and-a-globalist
By Melissa Dykes
4/28/2017

Looks like someone came out of the closet…
In his latest Wall Street Journal interview, president Trump has declared that he isn’t just a nationalist…
He’s also a globalist.

Apparently he now admits he’s both.

Yes, just after his dramatic reversal on NAFTA (and NATO), Trump has officially declared himself “also a globalist”. He told the WSJ:

“Hey, I’m a nationalist and a globalist,” President Trump said.
“I’m both. And I’m the only one who makes the decision, believe me.”

Yes… Believe him.

P.S.:
A senior Toronto bank executive told the WSJ that this administrative duplicity on global trade was evident by the calls President Trump’s Chief economic advisor Gary Cohn and his Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin have made  on numerous occasions to senior Canadian business officials in recent weeks, assuring them that no significant changes to NAFTA are expected.
“He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.”
