Interesting suicide coincided with Suckerbergs meeting in D.C> ...
Zuckerberg meets with Trump, Republican senators

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg met with President Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday, the latest sign of the tech mogul's personal outreach amid mounting scrutiny from Washington.

Despite the president's history of accusing Facebook of being anti-Trump, suggesting the company is an antitrust problem, and criticizing its digital currency, Libra, both Trump and the company put a positive spin on the meeting.

"Nice meeting with Mark Zuckerberg of @Facebook in the Oval Office today," Trump posted on Facebook and Twitter, with a photo of the two shaking hands.

News of the Trump sit-down emerged after Zuckerberg made the rounds on Capitol Hill on Thursday, holding a series of one-on-one sessions with Republicans, including Sen. Josh Hawley, a top tech industry critic.

Accompanied by an entourage that included Facebook's global policy chief, Joel Kaplan, and trailed by a sea of reporters and TV cameras, Zuckerberg brushed off media questions as he huddled behind closed doors with Hawley (R-Mo.) and other GOP senators, including Tom Cotton of Arkansas, John Cornyn of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah.

Police: Facebook Employee Dead After Jumping from Company Building
Amy Furr
20 Sep 2019

A Facebook employee reportedly died by suicide after leaping off the company’s headquarters building in Menlo Park, California, on Thursday.

The Menlo Park Police Department said the unidentified man jumped from the fourth floor of the building at 162 Jefferson Drive and was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Menlo Park Police Officers and Menlo Park Fire Protection District personnel responded, and when they arrived, found the victim unresponsive,” Menlo Park Police Department said in a statement Thursday. “Firefighters and paramedics administered medical aid but were unable to revive the victim.”

A preliminary investigation found that there was no foul play involved in the apparent suicide.

Facebook released a statement following the incident on Thursday:

We were saddened to learn that one of our employees passed away at our Menlo Park headquarters earlier today. We’re cooperating with police in their investigation and providing support to employees. While the family is being notified, we have no information to share. We hope to provide an update when we learn additional information from law enforcement.

Since Trump came to office .... MORE illegal immigration ... with no end in sight ...
Trump has been perfect cover for the USA pop replacement Pogrom .

" A pogrom is a violent riot aimed at the massacre or persecution of an ethnic or religious group, "

First recorded in 1882, the Russian word pogrom (погро́м, pronounced [pɐˈgrom]) is derived from the common prefix po- and the verb gromit' (громи́ть, pronounced [grɐˈmʲitʲ]) meaning "to destroy, to wreak havoc, to demolish violently". Its literal translation is "to harm".[13] The noun "pogrom", which has a relatively short history, is used in English and many other languages as a loanword, possibly borrowed from Yiddish
HHS: Number of Unaccompanied Alien Children Entering US Reaches Highest in History
By Melanie Arter | September 19, 2019 | 11:38 AM EDT

( – The number of unaccompanied children (UACs) entering the United States during fiscal year 2019 has grown to levels never seen before, Jonathan Hayes, director of the HHS’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), told Congress on Thursday.

According to his written testimony before the House Energy and Commerce Committee, DHS referred more than 67,000 UACs to ORR as of Sept. 16, 2019, which is the highest number in the program’s history.

Compare that to the 59,170 DHS referrals in FY 2016, the second highest number of referrals on record.

And how do I go about banning you from Global Gulag?

And granted they do not publish things that they think they do not like  .... (sic).

They just don't publish, even some of the most benign comments I have put up.
So I have had to figure that:

They aren't modded but are looked at in batch before being published, and a window for publishing is closed, even when the
"comments for this article are now closed." is not yet up.

"...Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this Island or lose the war..

If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands.

But if we fail, then the whole world,
including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science."

And is preceded by something in the vein of:
"The Battle for France is over; the battle for/of Britain is now beginning."

He did actually make this speech, though there are reports that he never made it to the Commons, and recorded it only in hindsight for posterity, perhaps his lengthy tome, "Memoirs of the Second World War" in 6 volumes.
This recorded version (bold text above) is available in The World at War, ep 'Alone', I think it is. Circa 1974.
The non-highlit text does not feature in TWAW episode.
Always good for a bit of approximately accurate history.

A few years ago they banned me for an entire year . . .
My crime was to have the top rated comment, and the comment was a quote of Winston Churchill.

From the days of Spartacus, Weishophf, Karl Marx, Trotski, Belacoon, Rosa Luxenburg, and Ema Goldman, this world conspiracy has been steadily growing. This conspiracy played a definite recognizable role in the tragedy of the French revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the 19th Century. And now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their head and have become the undisputed masters of that enormous empire.

Just goes to show how fake it all is . . .

Daily Mail has banned me again.

They let me login, post comments on articles that are "not moderated", but do not publish the comment.

Previously, they would refuse to publish anything on "moderated articles", or wait until the story was dead and then publish my comment.

Daily Mail now has a Remainer Editor, but a No Deal Brexiteer readership.

Cryptocurrency Mining in 2019: Is It Profitable and Should You Start?

Bitcoin mining took a big hit in 2018.

For most of the year, mining activity operated below the threshold for profitability. The biggest name in crypto mining, Bitmain, ended the year by cutting 50% of staff and shelving plans for a stock market launch.

Layoffs at Bitmain

Bitmain is the largest cryptocurrency mining company on the planet. It supplies mining hardware and operates various mining pools.

If you’re looking into cryptocurrency mining, you need to know what’s going on at Bitmain.

In December 2018, Bitmain reportedly fired more than 50% of its staff, including its entire Bitcoin Cash (BCH) development team. The combination of huge losses and the major bet on BCH presents big challenges for the company moving forward. US IT firm UnitedCorp sued Bitmain, Kraken,, and Roger Ver for allegedly manipulating the BCH network.

According to numerous reports, Bitmain was unable to liquidate its massive BCH reserves via cryptocurrency exchanges. Moreover, BCH was one of the worst performing cryptocurrencies in 2018. This only exacerbated the struggles of Bitmain.

The company originally planned to open up a Texas-based data center that would cost $500 million and generate 400 jobs but has decided to put these plans on the backburner. Bitmain has also halted plans for a stock market launch, at least for now. Co-founders Wu Jihan and Zhan Ketuan plan to step down from the CEO position and remain on the board of directors. The likely successor is Wang Haichao, who is currently the product engineering director of Bitmain.
