I have been aware of the true nature of Roger Stone for a while, but I thought it was time to bring it up as an issue . . . because his C.V. reads like that of an Anti-Truther.

I have only seen the trailer - not the whole doc. But if you ask me, Roger Stone's 1st priority is Roger Stone.

How Trump Adviser Roger Stone Became Washington’s Sleaziest Political Operator

By Jacob Weisberg

http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2016/08/jacob_weisberg_s_classic_new_republic_profile_of_trump_adviser_roger_stone.html

I wrote the story about Roger Stone reprinted below in 1985, when I was a college student, taking a year off to work as a reporter-researcher at the New Republic. This was Reagan-era Washington, where the old ideal of public service had given way to the service business of exploiting political connections for profit. What made Stone stand out in that tawdry scene was his utter shamelessness. He bragged about being a 19-year-old bit player in the Watergate scandal and about his friendship with Roy Cohn, Joe McCarthy’s notorious henchman. Along with his partners, among them Trump adviser Paul Manafort, he engaged in campaign tactics no one else would admit to and took lobbying clients no one else would represent, including murderous foreign dictators.

t became clear to me when I was reporting the story that Stone was less power player than con artist. He cultivated a reputation for being a bad boy, playing dirty tricks and crossing ethical lines. In practice, so far as I could tell, he was mostly shaking down his clients, who paid him a lot of money based on the largely false impression that he had real influence. He was a bluffer, implying he advised people he didn’t, and a leaker, ratting out his allies in pursuit of his own agenda.

After my story came out, Stone claimed it was good for his business. I don’t think it was. After Jack Kemp dropped out of the 1988 presidential race, his only nationally known client was Arlen Specter, the late Pennsylvania senator. He would emerge every so often at the center of some bizarre gambit or scandal, advising Al Sharpton on a presidential run, leaving abusive voicemails for Eliot Spitzer’s father, proposing to run for governor of Florida on a platform of legalizing marijuana, or publishing preposterous conspiracy books charging LBJ with masterminding John F. Kennedy’s assassination. Showing off his Nixon tattoo and giving interviews in Miami sex clubs, he was the definition of a marginal political figure.

wow

Once you start looking into him its just mind blowing.
How does he belong in the Truth Movement ?

I'm sure in the flesh he has incredible social skills, and probably very entertaining dinner guest, but still not a Truther.

Other (A Joker)

The 'real' life and times of Rodger Stone should be a taught 'phenomenon' at the high school and college level of geo-politics.

If Edward Bernays had and evil great grand son trying to emulate his great grand daddy's work, it would be Rodger Stone.  What Bernays was to 'fluoride' and 'cigarettes', Roger Stone is to political figures.  Rodger Stone is an 'image shape-shifter'.

Even Al Sharpton called on the 'shape-shifter' Stone to give his image some sort of makeover.  That was 'until' the cat got out of the bag the he was working with Sharpton's image.

However, when it comes to making a fraud and the absolute snow job Stone did on the American people, with great help from the corporate media, nothing can hold a candle to Stone's selling of Trump as something he is 180 degrees NOT.   Up until 2014 when the corporate media gave us 24/7  shock / awe / outrage Trump, Trump would hob nob, pal around with all of his New York democrat buddies.

So, you had this seedy casino / real-estate clown, who was the male version of Leona Helmsley using big government bully tactics to kick out the average Joe and Jane six-pack's out of their homes via 'eminent domain' on one hand.  On the other hand, you had his good buddy Stone who would go onto 'any' media platform and try and sell this idea that Trump was an "outsider", "a man of the people" and so on with the Bull.  Before 2014, it was an absolute joke to think Trump was anything but a fat cat player building his empire off the backs of the little people.

Of course, it took help from the corporate media to sell trump as an 'outsider' before the masses swallowed the lie hook-line-and-sinker.  Speaking of 'established media', I have to say that when Alex Jones gave Stone a 'regular' platform on his propaganda network, it was obvious game over for Infowars.

I know, Stone hates the Chitons.   ::) , but then again, maybe not as much as he would have you believe.

What's really interesting to me is how Trump's hoodwink of America is and almost a mirror, mirror version of Obama's hoodwinking of America  / world.

Both men were 'sold' as 180 polar opposites of who they really are.  In this day and age no less.

We got the population brain washed, all in a state of shock.  If you become aware well, we don't particularly care because we have the psy-op industrial complex.

Just documenting the Roger Stone case.  After the government production of his arrest, the media has been quiet about this case.

Stone - De 123 DOJ Response to MTC Crowdstrike Reports

GOVERNMENT’S RESPONSE TO DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO COMPEL UNREDACTED CROWDSTRIKE REPORTS; US v. Stone; 1:19-cr-00018Full description

https://scribd.com/document/413428947/Stone-De-123-DOJ-Response-to-MTC-Crowdstrike-Reports

GOVERNMENT’S RESPONSE TO DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO COMPEL UNREDACTED CROWDSTRIKE REPORTS

Defendant Roger J. Stone has filed a motion seeking to compel production of certain unredacted reports from the cybersecurity company CrowdStrike. Doc. 103. The government has no reason to believe the redacted information constitutes Brady material and does not possess the information the defendant seeks.
FACTUAL BACKGROUND

By May 2016, the Democratic National Committee (“DNC”) and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (“DCCC”) became aware that their computer systems had  been compromised by intrusions, and they hired the cybersecurity company CrowdStrike to identify the extent of the intrusions and mitigate the threat. On June 14, 2016, the DNC, via CrowdStrike, publicly announced that it had been hacked by Russian government actors. See, Washington Post, D.N.C. Says Russian Hackers Penetrated Its Files, Including Dossier on Donald Trump, June 14, 2016,
available at https://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/15/us/politics/russian-hackers-dnc-trump.html. At the direction of the DNC and DCCC’s legal counsel, CrowdStrike  prepared three draft reports. Copies of these reports were subsequently produced voluntarily to the government by counsel for the DNC and DCCC.

At the time of the voluntary production, counsel for the DNC told the government that the redacted material concerned steps taken to remediate the attack and to harden the DNC and DCCC systems against future attack. According to counsel, no redacted information concerned the attribution of the attack to Russian actors. The government has also provided defense counsel the opportunity to review additional reports obtained from CrowdStrike related to the hack.

Mentored in the art of manipulation: Donald Trump learned from the master -- Roy Cohn

Cohn modeled a style for Trump that was one part friendly gossip and one part menace

https://salon.com/2015/09/26/mentored_in_the_art_of_manipulation_donald_trump_learned_from_the_master_roy_cohn/

Quote
When Trump was still in his 20s he hired Cohn and began to move in the same circles. Both were members of Le Club, a private hot spot where the rich and famous and social climbers could meet without suffering the presence of ordinary people. Later, when Studio 54 served the glitter and cocaine crowd, Cohn and Trump were there too. Cohn modeled a style for Trump that was one part friendly gossip and one part menace. Cohn looked and sounded like someone who could hurt you if you crossed him. Trump kept a photo of the glowering Cohn so he could show it to those who might be chilled by the idea that this man was his lawyer.

It was Cohn who introduced Trump to a young political operator named Roger Stone in 1979. Stone had cut his teeth in the Nixon campaign of 1972 where he posed as a student socialist who donated to an opponent and then made the contribution public. The fake scandal helped scuttle antiwar congressman Rep. Pete McCloskey’s presidential bid and ensured that Nixon was around to give America three more years of a disastrous war and Watergate.

Brilliant and perpetually aggressive—“attack, attack, attack” is his motto—Stone teamed up with Trump to create an ersatz presidential bid in 1987, and the two have been political partners ever since. Like Cohn, Stone is a risk-taker. He and Trump got caught breaking campaign rules as they fought the development of Indian casinos and state officials levied a hefty fine. Stone counsels clients to “Admit nothing, deny everything, launch counterattack.” He once told a reporter that it was his practice to always, “Get even.” “When somebody screws you,” he added, “screw ‘em back—but a lot harder.”

Trump’s version of the Stone credo, as he told me, is to “hit back 10 times harder” whenever he feels attacked. Like McCarthy and Cohn and Stone, Trump loves to gossip and trade in information. He too cultivates an air of menace to keep his opponents off-guard and he hates to apologize, or back down. And, like Cohn, he insists that the kind of talk his critics consider offensive is really just the truth expressed without the social amenities. This is an ingenious tactic for someone who wants to be free to say almost anything, even if it’s insulting, and get away with.

Much of what Trump says and does comes straight out of the Cohn/Stone playbook, including his eagerness to make people uncomfortable and confused. As a campaign consultant Stone advises candidates to open multiple battlefronts, and as a source for reporters he often mystifies anyone who seeks to understand what he’s up to. For his part, Trump is a man prone to outrageous statements that defy fact-checking and our fascination with him stems, at least in part, from the delightful challenge of trying to figure out when he’s serious and when he’s putting us on.

The current state of the Stone-Trump relationship is puzzling indeed. Stone has earned substantial sums for Trump and has always seemed to lurk behind the scenes in his political life. However, his outrageousness can seem like a liability and in 2008 Trump told Jeffrey Toobin of the New Yorker, “Roger is a stone-cold loser.” He also complained that Stone “always tries taking credit for things he never did.”

Trump told me that he finds it easy to cut off those who displease him and that none of those who are banished ever return. Given this stand, it may seem strange that Trump welcomed Stone back into his political circle prior to announcing his candidacy for the GOP nomination. The reunion was short-lived, as the Trump campaign fired Stone in August with an announcement that said he was promoting himself too much. However, Stone insists he resigned before he was fired and he has continued to stump for Trump in the media. He is, like Donald, a true descendant of the McCarthy/Cohn line and perhaps as impossible to fully disown as a member of the family.

IS there anyone in the Trump Sphere that is not connected with organised crime operating at the highest levels ?
IS there any divide between the Govt and Organised Crime ?
