Your Purple tie, the colour of Royalty. (traditionally, priests wear purple; over their shoulders or around the neck).
Your BREXIT red. The colour of imminent threat or visceral danger.
Your use of 'GET BREXIT DONE'. The violent time-served criminal uses the term, "I'd do you now". (if I had a knife).
AKA. BreXiT being DONE is Brexit being killed.

ELECTION - Brexit Party real winners despite Zero Seats with Boris Landslide

Crazy headline, but the election was a landslide defeat for the Remainers with Boris set for a 87 seat majority breaking records since Maggie in 1987. The man behind Boris, was Sir Nigel Farage.

Jo Swinson the most facist Remainiac, leader of the Remainer Liberal-Democrat Party .... LOST HER SEAT !!!!!

Jo Swinson LOSES her own seat and is forced to step down as Lib Dem leader after anti-Brexit campaign flops
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7786971/Jo-Swinson-falls-flat-Lib-Dems-lose-seats-gained-Parliament.html

Jo Swinson's disastrous 2019 general election came to a bitter end today as she was ousted from her own seat in Scotland and was forced to quit as leader of the Liberal Democrats after disastrous campaign. Ms Swinson lost her East Dunbartonshire constituency to the SNP's Amy Callaghan by just 149 votes - and when the result came in Nicola Sturgeon was caught on camera celebrating like a football fan in nearby Glasgow. The emotional outgoing MP's voice broke as she said in her speech: 'Some will be celebrating the wave of nationalism that is sweeping on both sides of the border. For millions of people in our country, these results will bring dread and dismay and people are looking for hope.'  Sir Ed Davey and Baroness Sal Brinton will now become the joint acting leaders of the Liberal Democrats with a leadership election following in the new year.

It's the Corbyn-ocalypse!
Petulant Labour leader says he WILL stand down as party slumps to worst election result since 1935 - but refuses to admit his policies were wrong and blames the media for defeat
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7787007/Jeremy-Corbyns-tenure-Labour-leader-looks-over.html

* Jeremy Corbyn says he will stand down as Labour leader after shocking election
* Labour has recorded its worst set of general election results since back in 1935
*Labour has won just 203 seats overall - that is a drop of 59 on the 2017 result
* Boris Johnson set to win a 80 seat majority with the Tories heading for 365 MPs
* Mr Corbyn set to beat Labour's recent 1983 low watermark for results of 209
* Critics said results demonstrate the 'utter failure of Corbyn and Corbynism'
* But his allies insisted Brexit is to blame as they rushed to defend Labour leader
* Labour lost key seats of Blyth Valley and Workington to Tories as vote collapsed
* Current general election forecast: Tories 365, Labour 203, SNP 48, Lib Dems 11

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7787007/Jeremy-Corbyns-tenure-Labour-leader-looks-over.html

Jeremy Corbyn has announced he will quit as Labour leader after the party crashed to one of its worst ever sets of general election results. Mr Corbyn said he 'will not lead the party in any future election campaign' and that he will step down once his successor has been appointed. He has led Labour to a tally of just 203 MPs as the party suffered a series of crushing defeats to the Tories in previously safe seats.

The 203 figure is even worse than Labour's notorious recent low watermark under Michael Foot in 1983 when the party sank to just 209 MPs.

Announcing his decision to quit as leader after he was re-elected as the MP for Islington North, Mr Corbyn said: 'I will discuss with our party to ensure there is a process now of reflection on this result and on the policies that the party will take going forward. 'I will lead the party during that period to ensure that discussion takes place and we move on into the future.'   However, Mr Corbyn refused to accept any of the blame for his party's disastrous performance as he accused the media of 'disgusting' attacks and claimed his hard-left policy platform was 'extremely popular'.

'Not My Prime Minister' - Radical Left Marches Against Democracy In Britain
Fri, 12/13/2019 - 11:35

Apparently, the British people have ignored the anguished shrieks from the Extinction Rebellion protesters, Stand Up To Racissm rabble and other myriad constituencies of the British far-left about how "people WILL die!" unless Jeremy Corbyn's vision of society is imposed on Great Britain. Instead, the Tories have carried the biggest majority in decades, every single strategic decision by Johnson and Dominic Cummings (including the ruled-unconstitutional decision to suspend - or "prorogue" - parliament) has been vindicated and Corbyn has already announced his plans to quit, joining predecessor Ed Milliband on the scrap-heap of British political history.

Yes, the people have spoken. And the result was a resounding rejection of Corbyn's left-wing populist agenda. Though they wield a loud microphone on social media, the far-left doesn't have the support of a majority of the people - or even a majority of the working class that young 'democratic socialists' claim to represent.

Sadly, one of the traits of the modern-day left is that they are terribly sore losers. And instead of wishing Johnson luck and acknowledging and accepting that mistakes were made on their end, the radical left is encouraging everyone angry with the election results to join them in the street for a protest of 'racist' Johnson - and of democratic values themselves.

Why 'get Brexit done' was such a powerful mantra

Why 'get Brexit done' was such a powerful mantra

MAGICIANS are very aware of the power of three….

Three words or a word repeated three times can be very powerful tools to convey an important message to the human mind.

And that was played to perfection both before and during the General Election campaign.

Think back into recent history and there are interesting examples.

Ask anybody to recall words said by disgraced former Prime Minister Tony Blair and I guarantee ‘education, education, education’ will be at or near the top of the list. Had he merely said ‘education is our priority’ his speech would not have been nearly so memorable.

Ask the same of Theresa May and ‘Brexit means Brexit’ and ‘strong and stable’ are sure to score highly.

The even more disgraced Sir Jimmy Savile charmed audiences with phrases such as ‘now then, now then, now then’ which subconsciously invited the mind to listen with attention to whatever he said next. It also has power because the words are contradictory and mix up the mind but that’s a mental cul-de-sac.

I’m referring quite clearly to Boris Johnson’s mantra of ‘get Brexit done’ that has dominated his personal message for months.

He did, of course, repeat these words ad infinitum to the point where many people would have gladly throttled him given the chance. But repetition is also a very important part of the conditioning process.

The message, however, also needs to be appealing to a good many recipients.

You or I could shout ‘England are great’ from the rooftops but unless there is credibility it will eventually be returned to you with ridicule, as with Mrs May when not only was she unable to deliver Brexit but her government was anything but ‘strong’ or ‘stable’.

Consider this before we go into further details as to why this was a winning message.

Almost all polls publicised in the last couple of years suggested that the tide of the country was turning towards Remain.

Yet in all three polls that have actually counted the message has been very different – the 2017 General Election in which 83 per cent voted for the Tories and Labour when both promised to at least ‘honour the referendum’, the European election earlier this year when a Brexit Party with no history topped the British vote and now Boris Johnson’s surprisingly overwhelming victory.

And that is because the human mind values precision when making a judgement.

Asking folk how they would vote in a second (or third) referendum when Brexit was being daily associated with shambles and chaos and it’s hardly surprising Remain was victorious.

But change that question to ‘should the 2016 referendum result be implemented?’ and you would have got a far different outcome. No chance of a 52-48 cliff edge there to coin a Brexit phrase.

And there lies the key to the popularity of Boris’ message.

He didn’t say ‘Brexit is brilliant’ or ‘we must Leave’ which would have raised more objections but appealed to an ever-growing public sense of wanting Brexit out of the way.

And this won over soft Remainers as well as Leave voters.

I’m referring to those who voted Remain in 2016 and probably would have done so again if given the same choice – but who nevertheless believe that a democratic vote should be respected.

They, too, want Brexit done and dusted out of a genuine sense of fairness.

The sadness, of course, is that Brexit can’t be done, not for several years, but it’s the appeal of the message, allied to being repeated over and over again, that’s more effective than whether it’s true or realistic.

So, in summary, Boris and his PR gurus knew exactly what they were doing – get a very simple three-word message and sell it as many times as humanly possible.

It worked a treat on Thursday but it may yet return to ridicule Boris in years to come unless he delivers the goods.

'We've thrown most people under the bus and it's our own fault': Lib Dems turn on Jo Swinson's legacy of 'wrong decisions' as she is forced to step down after LOSING her seat

'The Liberal Democrats turned on their leader Jo Swinson today after she was ousted from her own seat in Scotland following a disastrous General Election campaign.

The party's former deputy leader Simon Hughes launched a scathing attack on her as he said 'every strategic decision' taken since she took over had been wrong.

It came after Miss Swinson, 39, lost East Dunbartonshire to the SNP's Amy Callaghan by just 149 votes - and when the result came in First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was caught on camera in nearby Glasgow celebrating like a football fan.

Lib Dem grandees Sir Ed Davey and Baroness Sal Brinton will now become the joint acting leaders of the party with a leadership election following in the new year.

Today, Mr Hughes told Sky News: 'Every single decision taken since Jo became the leader and Ed (Davey) became the deputy leader has been the wrong decision.

'Every strategic decision. They decided to go for revoking Article 50, having ignored the referendum. They decided that they could argue that that was because we might be a majority government. Incredible, incredible - nobody believed it.

'Jo led the campaign on the basis that she could be the prime minister - incredible. Nobody believed it. She was almost unknown.'

I agree entirely with the PM's attempt at coherent speech following Captain Corby's outburst
about 'maggots in Paprika and rat hairs in orange juice ...'

The question on my editor's lips is. What are either of them babbling ~(babel) on about now?
Labour and Conservative cooperate to maintain the military Industrial propped deep state of
money laundering and arms sales? Maybe I was wrong all along, and the status quo is the
very finest example of political condom. So, what in the meme of God is heir to the Castle-
Wüttenburg millions trying to communicate? I think I get it and that Boris is a Care-worker
looking after the welfare of the one who would captain the Titanic but that means my mind is scarcely
grappling any further with the dirty, shadiest business of the life political in this Sceptred Isle of mine .

They're actually laughing at me, so a little bird told but everybody laughs at the mistaken prophet and I count my blessings when I get a new delivery.
If they have any honesty, they will be doing just that which they seem to be but they should still give me a healthy science grant for further research.

Make no mistake though, I have a grasp on the very basics, and am extremely relieved that we don't have a Marxist-Leninist Government this week.
And with this, I sign-off, with the last post of the year; I hope. Feel free to storm the castle & help yourselves to the silver-plate-ware and artworks.

We need to thin it out some? Archive or delete ancient stuff?
By my reckoning, the servers at the far end, are overburdened by the sheer quantity of stuff.
having said that, I am very very sick and tired of the internet and it's deterioration recently.
