Serbia rejects US calls to cut ties with Russia

http://www.presstv.com/Detail/2017/11/03/540812/Serbia-Ivica-Dacic-Russia-ties-US-Yee

'Serbia has rejected calls by the United States to choose to have relations either with Russia or the West, saying Belgrade prefers to keep balanced ties with Russia, China, and the West at the same time.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Thursday that his country would act based on “what is in our own best interest.”

“What we do not want is that someone pulls our own chair from under us... what is important is to see what is in our own best interest,” Dacic told Reuters.

He made the remarks in response to calls made earlier this month by a senior US diplomat, who said Serbia “cannot sit on two chairs at the same time.”

“Countries must choose which path to follow, regardless of how difficult it would be, the country has to make its strategic choices, which must be part of official policy,” said US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Hoyt Brian Yee .'

AP: The Russian Foreign Ministry Lavrov also criticized Yee’s comments and warned the U.S. against “trying to enforce its hostile ideological stereotypes on others, undermining the foundation for international stability and cooperation in the Balkans and in Europe as a whole.”
The ministry noted in a statement that many EU nations engage in mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia.

You are correct.

Pictures are worth a thousand words !

Congratulations to Serbia for showing that there are other options.
That takes bravery, courage.
In Spanish the word is "cojones" aka testicles.

Now let's see what the USA does to crush them.

Hooray for Serbia !

Thank you, Phoenix Rising but I do not think President of Serbia Vucic have "cojones" but I know that her Lesbian PM Ana Brnabic
want to have cojones really.  I hope that Serbia become Phoenix but...

Enough with politicians. I recommend "Vogue". Nice article and pictures. :)
