'She is without doubt not just the worst PM in my lifetime, but the most dishonest': Nigel Farage tears into Theresa May for keeping Britain tied to the EU and tells GMB Westminster 'doesn't get how angry this country is
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7004809/She-without-doubt-worst-PM-lifetime-Nigel-Farage-tears-Theresa-May.html

'Nigel Farage has branded Theresa May the most dishonest Prime Minister of his lifetime over her handling of the country's exit from the EU.

The leader of the burgeoning Brexit Party said that Mrs May had promised many times that the UK would leave the bloc following the 2016 referendum vote.

But speaking on Good Morning Britain today, he slammed her failure to secure an exit and said the only reason she still leads the Conservatives is because 'Tory MPs have not got the backbone to get rid of her'.

'She is without doubt not just the worst Prime Minister in my lifetime, but the most dishonest as well,' he told presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.

Farage said that he doesn't think 'Westminster gets how angry this country is' over the fact that Brexit has not yet materialised. His remarks come as parties prepare to battle it out in the EU elections later this month after Mrs May failed to break the Brexit deadlock and negotiate a deal in talks with the Labour Party.

He accused the Prime Minister of 'pretending' to go for a free trade deal with the EU but said her agreement still bound us to the bloc.

His party advocates leaving the EU without a deal and using World Trade Organisation rules in the immediate aftermath.

Farage said that the Tories doing a deal with Labour to ensure a customs union is in place after Brexit would be a 'complete betrayal'.

Susanna Reid suggested that there is division over what deal is adopted because people who backed leaving didn't necessarily vote to leave without an arrangement in place.

When Farage was challenged on what people voted for in the EU Referendum, he repeatedly said: 'They voted to leave.''

European elections: Tories could come sixth, officials fear
http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/may/09/tories-fear-dismal-results-in-european-elections-meps-say

'Conservative officials fear the party could come sixth in the European elections, with their support plummeting to single digits.

Candidates running in the election said the party was “almost in denial” that the poll was happening and continued to insist they would not need to take up their seats in the European parliament, despite fading prospects for a cross-party deal with Labour that would enable Brexit to happen before 2 July.

The fears of a dismal performance have been stoked by the fact that the party plans to spend no money on candidate campaigning, will not publish a manifesto and is refusing to hold a launch.

One MEP said candidates were funding their campaigns out of their own pockets, unlike previous years when there was a central pot of funding available. They have been told they are allowed to have their own regional manifestos, but many are not bothering, and there will be no central party manifesto.

“The thinking is that if we make no effort then we will have an excuse for having done so badly. But it is seriously embarrassing,” said one MEP. Another Conservative source said internal data showed the party could do worse than the Brexit party, Labour, the Lib Dems, Change UK and even potentially the Greens, with support at less than 10%. That would translate to only a handful of seats, down from the current 22.

A second CCHQ source said the outlook was “absolutely dire” and worse even than the public pollsters were predicting because the party was planning to put in no effort whatsoever, apart from a free mailshot.

Part of the problem is the party’s activist base, as they are not motivated to campaign for the Conservatives when Brexit has not been delivered as previously promised. Surveys suggest around three in five members are planning to vote for Nigel Farage’s Brexit party.

After a meeting with Brandon Lewis, the Conservative party chairman, earlier this week, MEP candidates were left with the impression that Theresa May would give a speech next week setting out the party’s European election message. However, a No 10 source said there were “no plans” for such an intervention.

With a dire showing predicted, May is expected to make another effort to get her withdrawal bill through the House of Commons or let MPs vote on various different options for Brexit within the next two weeks.'

Brexit Party opens up 15-point poll lead over Tories – and receives £200,000 gift from one of their former donors
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-party-nigel-farage-conservatives-tory-donor-200k-jeremy-hosking-a8909701.html

'A major Conservative donor has defected to Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party, donating £200,000 to the upstart outfit just as it has surged into first place in the polls.

The City financier Jeremy Hosking, who is reportedly worth more than £330m, has confirmed he had switched allegiance to the new party, which has soared to 29 per cent in the latest poll ahead of the European elections.

Mr Hosking has previously given substantial sums to the Conservative Party, including £350,000 to several Tory candidates in the 2017 election and £1.7m to Vote Leave during the 2016 referendum.

But now he has deserted the governing party and switched his loyalty and chequebook to the newly-founded Brexit Party, led by Mr Farage. The businessman told The Daily Telegraph he knew of three or four other Tory donors who were also planning to give similar size sums to the Brexit Party.

“I have given £200,000, and urge all who wish to see a proper Conservative Party in Britain to support the BP as much as they can,” he told the newspaper.

“If the Conservatives insist on diluting Brexit, what hope is there on other issues where a robust Conservative position needs to be advocated?”

Mr Hosking also made a mock apology to the “politically correct Brexit reversal conspiracy” for being a British citizen and taxpayer, rather than a Russian oligarch.

“I look at Nigel Farage and I see a political leader who is the only person in a leadership position who has been telling us the truth for 25 years,” he said.

Theresa May has seen her party’s fortunes plummet ever since she failed to pass her Brexit deal by the original deadline in March.'

How Labour lost its heartlands
http://www.spiked-online.com/2019/05/07/how-labour-lost-its-heartlands/

A <a href="https://www.spiked-online.com/tag/theresa-may/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Conservative prime minister who is as incompetent as she is intransigent. A government which has managed the <a href="https://www.spiked-online.com/topic/brexit/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brexit process in spectacularly woeful fashion. And a <a href="https://www.spiked-online.com/tag/conservatives/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tory Party which, not for the first time in its history, is ripping itself apart over Europe.

Yet in the latest <a href="https://www.spiked-online.com/2019/05/06/even-the-local-elections-were-all-about-brexit/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">local elections, the <a href="https://www.spiked-online.com/tag/labour/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Labour Party still managed to lose 84 councillors. Yes, the Conservative Party lost 1,330 seats, an undeniable disaster. But under such favourable conditions, Labour should have been gaining hundreds of new councillors, not ending the night with a deficit. Remainers are now using the successful results of the Liberal Democrats and the Greens – who have gained a combined total of nearly 900 councillors – to steam ahead with their anti-democratic efforts to overturn the result of the June 2016 EU referendum. Many of those pushing this line are Labour Remainers, who are still utterly miffed by the fact that 17.4million people – including millions of natural Labour voters – voted to leave the EU, posing a popular challenge to their beloved status quo.

But this framing of the local election results as a ‘Remainer backlash’ is questionable, to say the least. It is important to note that as well as the success of the Liberal Democrats and Greens, there was a net gain of 661 councillors running either as independents or for minor parties – something which has been overlooked by many. This included a stunning result in the Barnsley ward of <a href="https://twitter.com/britainelects/status/1124106722153463811" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Darfield, where the pro-Leave Democrats and Veterans Party (DVP), founded in 2018 by ex-UKIP member and Gulf War veteran Gavin Felton, gained the ward from Labour.

In addition to this, the explicitly pro-Leave <a href="https://www.spiked-online.com/tag/brexit-party/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brexit Party – riding high in European Parliament pre-election polls – did not stand candidates in the local elections. UKIP, no longer the beneficiaries of Nigel Farage’s charismatic leadership, has been tarnished in the eyes of many Leave voters by its close association with <a href="https://www.spiked-online.com/tag/tommy-robinson/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tommy Robinson. Therefore, credible pro-Brexit options were few and far between for many disenchanted Leave voters across England.'

Why these Euro elections matter
http://www.spiked-online.com/2019/05/09/why-these-euro-elections-matter/

'It’s the election that was never supposed to happen. It’s the election that many <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/may/07/brexit-register-to-vote-eu-elections" target="_blank" rel="noopener">didn’t expect to happen. But yesterday it was announced that the UK will indeed be participating in <a href="https://www.spiked-online.com/tag/eu-elections-2019/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">elections to the EU parliament at the end of this month. That’s right. Three years on from the referendum, when 17.4million citizens voted for Britain to leave the EU, the nation will head to the polls once more and elect representatives to an institution to which we should, by rights, no longer belong. This sticks in the craw not just for Leave voters but for all democrats.

Leave voters are right to be angry that the UK is taking part in these elections. Yet what’s notable is not the anger of Leavers but the absence of jubilation from Remainers in the UK parliament, in the press and on social media. No doubt some are delighted at this very public signal that, for the time being at least, the UK continues to be very much wedded to the EU project. But their celebrations are remarkably muted. David Lidington, Theresa May’s spokesman and de facto deputy prime minister, confirmed the UK’s participation as if he was announcing a period of national mourning. Regret was the word of the day. May, Lidington said, ‘“deeply regrets” that the UK did not leave as planned in March and recognised many people felt “great frustration” that the European elections were going ahead’. Both Labour and Conservative representatives, currently engaged in talks, had hoped that a last minute Brexit In Name Only fudge could be pushed through parliament in time to avoid the EU elections, but ‘regrettably’ May had conceded this is ‘now impossible’. Like a hostage being held at gunpoint, Lidington said: ‘We very much hoped that we would be able to get our exit sorted… so that those elections did not have to take place. But legally they do have to take place unless our withdrawal has been given legal effect.’

Participating in the EU elections is indeed nothing to celebrate. As spiked has consistently argued, the EU undermines democracy by distancing national governments from decision-making processes and protecting them from being held to account by their citizens. Members of the European parliament cannot form a government and have no power to initiate legislation. Meaningful decisions are parcelled off to unelected bodies like the European Commission and the European Council. The parliament simply provides a veneer of democratic respectability to a thoroughly undemocratic institution.'

Farage: Vote for Brexit Party Lets People ‘Put No Deal Back on the Table’
JACK MONTGOMERY
11 May 2019

Nigel Farage believes a strong, first-place finish for his Brexit Party will put a clean, No Deal exit from the European Union “back on the table”, despite the strenuous efforts of Britain’s Remainer-dominated House of Commons to rule it out.
...

“It puts a no-deal Brexit back on the table,” he said
when asked what the impact would be if the Brexit Party wins the upcoming European Parliament elections — which Britain will have to participate in despite voting to leave the EU almost three years ago, due to Prime Minister Theresa May repeatedly reneging on promises to have taken Britain out of the bloc by now.
,,,

Parliament has taken it off the table. Our voters say, put it back on the table, and if we win, [the Brexit Party] will demand representation with the government at the next stage of negotiations,” he said.

We have a deadline now of 31 October and we want to make sure, our voters want to make sure, that, actually, no deal is being seriously thought about.

'You're in denial, the BBC is in denial': Furious Nigel Farage blasts Andrew Marr for asking 'ludicrous' questions about his views on the NHS while ignoring 'sea-change' in British politics since Brexit
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7019929/Youre-denial-BBC-denial-tempers-flare-Nigel-Farage-Andrew-Marr.html

'Nigel Farage clashed angrily with the BBC's Andrew Marr, accusing him of being 'in denial' of a 'sea change' in British politics, for focusing on his previous statements.

It made for uncomfortable viewing as the two men talked across each other, the interviewer refusing to stop asking questions and the politician angrily denouncing the exchange as 'ludicrous'.

Arguing that examining its leader was the 'only way to look at the Brexit Party in the round at the moment', Mr Marr asked: 'Do you still want to replace the NHS with a private insurance system?'

Mr Farage replied: 'I never did, I would like to take the burden off the NHS.'

He added quickly: 'But if you want to go back, this is really very boring isn't it.

'All you want to do is go back to stuff from years ago. Why don't we talk about now in British politics.

'Why don't we talk about the sea-change that is going on out there', said Mr Farage, precipitating a tense several minutes as broadcaster and politician spoke across each other and both refused to back down.

Mr Marr put a string of Mr Farage's previous statements to him, on bringing in health insurance to the NHS; saying that worrying about global warming was the 'stupidest thing in human history'; on relaxing laws on gun control; being uncomfortable hearing foreign languages on the Tube; stopping people with HIV coming into the country; and admiring Vladimir Putin.

Throughout, the Brexit Party leader said: 'Here we are talking about one of the biggest changes that's ever occurred in politics and you're not even interested.

'What's wrong with the BBC?

'I've been going round the country speaking at packed rallies every night and do you know who's not there? The BBC. and from this line of questioning I can see why. You're just not interested are you?

'Let's talk about democracy, let't talk about trust, let's talk about competence in British politics.

'This is ludicrous. This is absolutely ludicrous.

'I've never in my life seen a more ridiculous interview than this.'

Nigel Farage says it's his 'duty' to stand as MP at next general election as voters flock to Brexit Party in EU elections poll - with the Tories trailing in FIFTH behind Greens and Lib Dems
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7022585/Voters-flock-Farages-Brexit-Party-new-EU-elections-poll-Tories-slump-FIFTH-place.html

'Nigel Farage today revealed he will stand to be an MP - calling it 'his duty' - as his Brexit Party looks set to thrash the Tories into fifth place in the upcoming EU elections.

The former UKIP leader also admitted he would be willing to prop up the next Conservative leader to make them Prime Minister in the event of a hung Parliament - but only if they agree to leave the EU with No Deal on World Trade Organization (WTO) terms.

He told LBC today: 'I'm going to have to [stand] of course. It's a duty. We cannot ever allow again a great democratic exercise like this to be railroaded aside by career politicians of the Labour and Tory parties'.

Mr Farage, who last stood in South Thanet in 2015 but lost to the Tories -his seventh failed attempt at getting into Parliament - has not said the constituency he would target. But perhaps significantly he was speaking today during a visit to Pontefract, West Yorkshire, part of Labour MP Yvette Cooper's constituency, where 70 per cent voted to leave the EU and he said Jeremy Corbyn's party 'is vulnerable in the most extraordinary way'.

Asked whether he'd do a deal with the Tories if elected, he said: 'If we can save £39billion, come out of the Customs Union, come out of the Single Market, come out of the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice and be a genuinely independent, self-governing democracy that can choose its own future, I’d do a deal with the devil to get that'.

The Brexit Party is racing ahead with a predicted 34 per cent of the vote on May 23 - but Theresa May's Conservatives are heading for just 10 per cent, a new YouGov survey has found.

This would put the Prime Minister's party in fifth place behind the Greens and the Liberal Democrats, who were on 15 per cent and 11 per cent respectively.'

I've been told some brave soul is contesting legally that we should have already left.

Of course its not in the papers

Found this :

https://www.economicvoice.com/another-brexit-article-50-court-case/

Now, many of you will know about the Judicial Review case brought by solicitor and Chairman of the English Democrats, Robin Tilbrook, against the manner of the decision by Theresa May to extend the Article 50 process beyond the 29th of March 2019 – a case that is progressing through the court system right now

But has anyone heard of a similar case being brought by a former Tory MP and Chairman of the Treasury Select Committee, Barry Legg, who is now the Chairman of the Eurosceptic Bruges Group.

Writing in the Telegraph, Tory Eurosceptic MP Bill Cash, wrote:

"I warned Donald Tusk before the European Council that there was likely to be a challenge in the UK Courts. This is now underway, in the name of Barry Legg, former Chairman of the Treasury Select Committee, following discussions with QCs and former judges. It attacks the statutory instrument for extension of time as ultra vires and void."

And he goes on to say that, by implication, we would therefore have left the EU on the 12th of April.

But, I have to point out that, if that premise is true for the second Article 50 extension, then surely it must be true for the first and Tilbrook therefore should win his earlier case and we would actually have left the EU two weeks earlier at 11 pm on the 29th March 2019!

In fact Robin Tilbrook Tweeted yesterday:

"Our barrister has been working on a devastating response to the Government's 'Grounds of Resistance' which we will file with the High Court on Tuesday and press for the earliest hearing date! Once properly filed I will publish on http://RobinTilbrook.blogspot.co.uk "

Isn't it strange that the press gives neither case proper coverage and Bill Cash is also giving the Tilbrook case scant regard.

These cases are of historic constitutional importance, cases that could well dictate the course of UK history.

But of course the establishment wants them dead and buried.

The trouble is that these cases cannot be buried and the decisions and pronouncements on them by our judges, will shape opinion of the independent UK judiciary and it members, for probably centuries to come.

And those judges reviewing these cases know that only too well, or at least they should!

And I have to ask, out of all the thousands upon thousands of so called journalists out there, is there not just one single one of them that is prepared to do a bit of proper digging and proper journalism over this issue? Is there not one single editor of a major news source out there prepared to give this case a good public airing?

Or do our journo colleges now just churn out people who know how to pretty up government press releases?

And finally, according to the Express, the Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn is saying that, if he becomes Prime Minister, he will not be taking up residence in Number Ten.

This is reportedly causing the security services the nightmarish headaches of possibly having to seal off the whole street of Corbyn's Islington home.

One police source told the Mail on Sunday:

“He’s been told it would be a nightmare.

“The police have said that there’s no way they could make his Islington home secure without sealing off the whole street.”

But of course the good news is that, once he exposed as a Marxist fraud and destroyer of the UK nation and heritage, he will be swiftly turfed out. So having nothing more than an office in Number Ten would make it easier for the next resident to move in to.

Anyway, what do you think? – Please share and comment – and thank you for watching.

Change UK is the gift that keeps on giving
http://www.spiked-online.com/2019/05/16/change-uk-is-the-gift-that-keeps-on-giving/

'Chuka Umunna is on the front cover of GQ this month. Meanwhile, his newly formed anti-Brexit party, Change UK, the ChUKas if you will, is at around five per cent in the polls for the European Parliament election – an election that ChUKas were supposed to storm as the true party of Remain. The enthusiasm gap between media and public has, of course, been there since the party first launched a few months back. It is designed to appeal to metropolitan anti-democrats who are overrepresented in our media and politics. Most of the supporters of Change UK are probably either in it or covering it. But it’s nevertheless been hilarious watching the hype collide with reality over the past few weeks. And what a few weeks it has been for the ChUKas. First there was the battle over its name. When the parliamentary bloc first formed out of 11 disgruntled Tory and Labour MPs it went with The Independent Group, or the TIGgers, as a placeholder. Then it chose Change UK – or ‘Change.org’, as Change UK MP Anna Soubry mistakenly first announced it in the Commons (causing consternation at the popular e-petition website). Then they decided to combine the two, presumably to keep the fun TIGger thing. Now they’re ‘Change UK – the Independent Group’, as if they are trying to jog people’s memory: ‘We’re Change UK. You know, The Independent Group? No…?’

Perhaps it was a smart move. Indeed, ChUK has gone so far under ordinary people’s radar that a poll a few weeks ago suggested that just 38 per cent of voters knew the party was anti-Brexit. And as the European election campaign has worn on, the public has become no more enthused. Its stage-managed ‘rallies’ look like regional sales conferences, only less well attended. Its primary achievement so far seems to have been to resuscitate the Liberal Democrats, the erstwhile ‘Party of the 48%’ that ChUK planned to plunder for candidates, supporters and donors. Last night, ChUK’s lead MEP candidate in Scotland went in the opposite direction, defecting to the Lib Dems.'

Scotland won't be independent within EU, says Farage
http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/may/17/nigel-farage-attacks-snps-claims-about-post-brexit-scotland

'Nigel Farage has called on “genuine Scottish nationalists” to vote for his Brexit party in next week’s EU elections, as he described Nicola Sturgeon’s campaign for an independent Scotland within Europe as “the most dishonest political discourse anywhere in the world”.

As anti-racist protesters chanted outside the venue, Farage told cheering supporters at a rally in Edinburgh: “If you’re genuinely a nationalist lend your vote to the Brexit party, let’s get out of the EU and then have an honest debate about independence.”

Speaking to the media before going onstage at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange with the Brexit party’s EU election candidates for Scotland, Farage said: “The impression that’s often given by Nicola Sturgeon is that almost everybody in Scotland thinks the European Union is a fantastic idea, when the reality is that 30% of her own voters, because they are actually genuinely nationalists, voted to leave the EU.” Despite his leading Scottish candidate, Louis Stedman-Bryce, stating in an interview this week that the party would not oppose a second Scottish independence referendum, Farage insisted that both independence and EU votes were once-in-a-generation decisions.

A buoyant Farage, perhaps relieved that he was not facing the level of public anger that led to him being hounded out of central Edinburgh in 2013, insisted that Scotland was more receptive to his message than it had been in previous years.

“I do think there’s not been a proper debate on the EU in Scotland because there’s not been a genuine opposing voice here making the Eurosceptic argument, and what I’m hoping is that if we can make a significant breakthrough in these elections we can start to do that.”'

Brexit Party: why the shit isn’t sticking
http://www.spiked-online.com/2019/05/13/brexit-party-why-the-shit-isnt-sticking/

'One of the most beautiful things in British public life right now is the disparity – the colossal disparity – between the media smears about the Brexit Party and the continued success of the Brexit Party. It’s wonderful to behold. Increasingly embittered Remainers from the media set and the political class hurl slurs and epithets at the Brexit Party, insisting with increasing shrillness that it’s a far-right outfit, loopy too, a coalition of extremists whose rallies echo Hitler’s robotic mass gatherings in Nuremberg. And yet then come the opinion polls, one after another, all showing the Brexit Party soaring ahead in the public’s affections. The elite is throwing a lot of shit at the Brexit Party, but it just isn’t sticking.

The elite’s smears won’t work, because they just aren’t true.

The elite is throwing a lot of shit at the Brexit Party, but it just isn’t sticking. The attacks on the Brexit Party, and the utter failure of the attacks to impact on public sentiment, reveal two things. First: the debasement of political life at the hands of the technocratic elites. Having spent the past three decades draining public life of politics, morality and ideology, in favour of presenting themselves as the cool, neutral ‘managers’ of society, these people have completely forgotten how to do politics. Their outsourcing of political authority to Brussels, and their eschewing of ideological debate in preference for the drab managerialism of the so-called Third Way, has led to their own infantilisation, to their transformation into bureaucrats ill-versed in substantial discussion. This is why they must now rely either on fear (‘a Hard Brexit will plunge us into dystopia’) or insult (‘the Brexit Party are far-right weirdos’). Because in hollowing out political life, and self-consciously elevating it above the rough and tumble of democratic debate, they made themselves bereft of conviction, ideas, even basic debating skills. All they have left as a means of public persuasion is terror and abuse.'

The latest YouGov poll published towards the end of last week shows the Brexit Party in a commanding lead ahead of Thursday’s vote with 35 percent.

The Lib Dems moved into second place with 16 percent, Labour Party has 15 percent, Green Party 10 percent and Conservatives on just nine percent.

The YouGov survey took place between May 12 and May 16 and quizzed 7,192 adults in the UK on their voting intentions for the European elections.

PC = Welsh Nationalists

Unless our poll is horribly inaccurate, or Labour stage an astonishing resurgence in the last few days of the European election campaign, we are going to see Labour defeated in Wales for only the second time in the last one hundred years.

EU elections to be ‘BIGGEST REVOLUTION’ in UK politics as Tories face ‘annihilation’
http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1129184/european-elections-brexit-latest-update-uk-conservatives-brexit-party-farage

'THE CONSERVATIVE Party is heading not just for defeat, but for “annihilation” in Thursday’s European elections, and the vote could cause the “biggest revolution in our political system”, says a Tory MEP.

According to a detailed YouGov survey published this week, the Conservatives are in fifth place behind the Brexit Party, Labour, the Lib Dems and the Greens. The poll, with more than 7,000 respondents who were surveyed between May 12-16, shows that the Tories are heading “not just for defeat, but for annihilation” in the forthcoming EU vote, according to Tory MEP Daniel Hannan. Tories are expected to receive just nine percent of votes, according to the poll, and Mr Hannan argues that if correct, such a small proportion of the vote would be a “knockout blow” for the governing party - and they would be unlikely to pick itself up again.

Writing for The Telegraph, the MEP for South East England said that the predicted the European election would be a “catastrophe” for the Tories.

He said: “The idea that a party can pick itself up after a result like that and win a general election is for the birds.”

He added: “And, in our political system, when one of the two main parties is stretched out cold on the canvas, the other wins the bout”.'

May's 'New Deal' Flops, Farage Soars

Bloomberg reports that Theresa May is facing pressure to abandon her Brexit deal and quit as British prime minister within days, according to people familiar with the matter. Several senior government officials said they were shocked that the premier’s new offer intended to win votes in Parliament for her European Union divorce agreement had been so badly received so quickly.
...

...
Long-term euroskeptic and former President of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus, sums things up well:

"As I look at it from Prague, the British main political parties totally failed, and betrayed and abandoned the British citizens, their own voters. It had, however, one positive side effect: by behaving in this way, they probably and unwillingly created the Brexit Party...

...Dear Brexit friends, you should in the forthcoming elections give the whole rest of Europe a good example. Many Europeans need it, and many are waiting for it. Don’t disappoint them.”

'She needs to go': Now May's Cabinet ministers line up to face the PM in private meetings as MPs demand she quit TODAY amid fury at disastrous Brexit Bill second referendum promise

'Theresa May is facing the threat of an all-out Tory mutiny tonight as ministers desert her and senior MPs warn she 'needs to go'.

Cabinet is mobilising to stop the PM pressing ahead with her Brexit Bill after she sparked a furious backlash by offering to hold a vote on a second referendum.

The so-called 'Pizza Club' of Eurosceptic ministers - including Michael Gove and Andrea Leadsom - met this morning at short notice to discuss the situation.

A senior source said there was a growing consensus that the Bill should not be brought to the Commons. 'The mood music in Cabinet is heading towards stopping it coming back,' they told MailOnline.<div class="" style="width: auto; display: block; margin: 0 auto;">

Conservative Politician’s Home Firebombed While Family Slept
Scottish councillor believes he was targeted for murder
By Dan Lyman Tuesday, May 21, 2019

A local politician and his family narrowly escaped a suspected arson attack at their home in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Councillor Graeme Campbell of the Scottish Conservatives party says his wife’s car was doused with accelerant and set ablaze just feet from where they slept, and if not for a passing neighbor alerting them to the growing fire, the damage could have been far worse or fatal.
...
Councillor Campbell posted a follow-up video after the fire, professing to know who the culprits are and defiantly warning he will see them brought to justice.
...
Conservative and anti-globalist politicians across the U.K. have been targeted by radical leftists in recent weeks, as Nigel Farage, Carl Benjamin, and Tommy Robinson have all been hit with milkshakes on the campaign trail.
