CA EDD admits paying as much as $31 billion in unemployment funds to criminals
Monday, January 25, 2021

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- As much as $31 billion in California unemployment funds have been paid out to scammers, California EDD admits.

ABC7 News' 7 On Your Side has been tracking the numerous fraudulent claims that have been plaguing the EDD and on Monday afternoon, it confirmed that even more money than previously reported has been paid out to scammers.

In an EDD conference call, Julie Su, secretary for the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency said, "Of the 114 billion dollars in unemployment paid by California since March, approximately 10% has been confirmed as fraudulent. An additional 17% of the paid claims have been identified as potentially fraudulent."

That's $11.4 billion confirmed and as much as $20 billion more in fraud.

"There is no sugar coating the reality, California did not have sufficient security measures in place to prevent this level of fraud," Su said.

Cuomo Coverup? Aide Admits Nursing Home Data Purposefully Concealed So Feds Wouldn't Find Out
Friday, Feb 12, 2021

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's top aide privately apologized to Democratic lawmakers over a decision to withhold the state's nursing-home COVID-19 death toll out of fear that it would be "used against us" by the Trump Justice Department, according to the New York Post.

Melissa DeRosa, Secretary to the Governor, made the shocking admission during a two-hour video conference call with Democratic leaders - telling them that the Cuomo administration stonewalled after the State Senate requested the information in August.

"Right around the same time, [then-President Donald Trump] turns this into a giant political football, says DeRosa in an audio recording of the meeting.

"He starts tweeting that we killed everyone in nursing homes," she continues. "He starts going after [New Jersey Gov. Phil] Murphy, starts going after [California Gov. Gavin] Newsom, starts going after [Michigan Gov.] Gretchen Whitmer."

DeRosa then suggested that Trump "directs the Department of Justice to do an investigation into us," and because of this, "basically, we froze" she said.

"Because then we were in a position where we weren't sure if what we were going to give to the Department of Justice, or what we give to you guys, what we start saying, was going to be used against us while we weren't sure if there was going to be an investigation."

Queens Assemblyman Ron Kim (D) told the Post that DeRosa's remarks came off "like they admitted that they were trying to dodge having any incriminating evidence that might put the administration or the [Health Department] in further trouble with the Department of Justice."

Pro-Abortion, Gun Grabbing, Pro-Transgenders-in-the-Bathroom Bruce Springsteen Tells Americans to 'Meet in the Middle'

Rock-and-roll star Bruce Springsteen called for a "ReUnited States" in a sentimental Jeep commercial broadcast during the Super Bowl. "The Boss," who wishes for Americans to meet in "the middle" socially and politically, has a long history of radical views, including support for abortion, socialized medicine, and allowing transgender biological males into girls' restrooms.
A New Jersey native with a second residence in California, The Boss, in the commercial, drives a Jeep CJ-5 through rural America complete with weathered western boots, earrings, and a cowboy hat.

Police Report: Bruce Springsteen 'Smelt Strongly of Alcohol,' Refused Breathalyzer Before DWI Arrest

The new details of Springsteen's arrest have emerged a day after Jeep indefinitely suspended its Super Bowl ad campaign that featured the "Glory Days" singer. The automaker pulled the commercial from YouTube and other platforms following the embarrassing revelation that its new pitchman is facing DWI charges.

Joe Biden refused to denounce China's Uyghur genocide during his CNN appearance last night, asserting that the Communist country's systematic oppression of minorities was just a different cultural norm.

Yes, really.

Despite the Trump administration and his own characterizing Beijing's treatment of Uyghur Muslims as a genocide, Biden furiously backpedaled after he was asked about the issue.

"If you know anything about Chinese history, it has always been the time when China has been victimized by the outer world is when they haven't been unified at home," said Biden, going on to say that President Xi Jinping is aiming to achieve a "tightly controlled China."

"I'm not gonna speak out against what he's doing in Hong Kong, what he's doing with the Uyghurs in the western mountains of China...culturally there are different norms that each country and their leaders are expected to follow," he added.

Biden skips  "State of the Union Address" ...  really strange ...

February 26, 2021
Embarrassing excuse offered for Biden's vanishing State of the Union Address
By Thomas Lifson

All of a sudden, here it is the end of February, and there is no State of the Union (SOTU) address scheduled for President Biden.  That's odd because last month, Biden promised what sounds exactly like a SOTU:

"Next month, in my first appearance before a joint session of Congress, I will lay out my 'Build Back Better' recovery plan," he said. "It will make historic investments in infrastructure, manufacturing, innovation, and research and development in clean energy."

The AP and PBS both got wind that the address was to be given on February 23 in and said so in posts that are now deep-sixed:

But on February 16, Jen Psaki denied such a plan in a press conference:

[W]hen asked about the timing, his press secretary Jen Psaki said there had never been a plan for him to address a joint session this month.

"We don't know where the Feb. 23 date came from. It's a great mystery," she said during the regular daily briefing.

"I've not Nancy Drewed that one out today, but it was never planned to be in February, and we don't have a date for a joint session at this point," Psaki said, comparing herself to the popular character in a series of children's books who solves mysteries.

It is only tradition that a president address a joint session of Congress early in the year to fulfill the constitutional requirement (Article II, Section 3) that a POTUS "shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient[.]"

Jimmy Carter, a failed one-term president, actually skipped his in the year of his inauguration, missing an opportunity to lay out his plan for the presidency and the nation, with blanket television coverage, plus plenty of pomp and circumstance.  And look what happened to him.

Yet Biden's handlers seem to have pulled the plug on the man the late Rush Limbaugh mocked as "Plugs" because of his hair transplants to forestall a receding hairline.  The lickspittle media are rushing in with "fact checks" to assure the nation that there is no requirement or deadline for a SOTU speech.  But it is awkward, especially considering the rising doubts about Biden's mental and physical state.  Nick Arama of RedState expressed the view of many:

Let's face it. There's a big problem with having Joe try to deliver a ninety-minute speech at 9:00 p.m. at night without a teleprompter in front of Congress.
He has trouble just making it through basic remarks before media for a few minutes, much less a speech of that length. They must be wracking their brains to figure out how they're going to pull it off.

As we previously reported, Biden hasn't even had a solo press conference with the media yet. By this time, both Barack Obama and Donald Trump had done solo pressers.

The excuse dredged up yesterday for missing SOTU is...you guessed it...the January 6 Capitol incursion, which the left wants to make the defining moment of the century:

The Capitol Police is keeping its security posture high in response to intelligence that indicates some extremists who joined the Jan. 6 insurrection have discussed plans to attack the building during the State of the Union, Acting Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman revealed Thursday.

Democrats know that Biden is not all there.  That's why a bunch of them want to take away the power for him to launch a nuclear strike.  Just yesterday, he had to be reminded by Kamala, at a COVID event, not to go wandering up to people without wearing a mask:

DVC Students Ask: What is the Future of DACA?
Alison Lucha, Staff
February 16, 2021

At the 10th annual Dreamers Conference hosted Feb. 3-5 through Diablo Valley College, students shared stories and experiences about the challenges they faced  and often overcame  when applying for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, status.

Lillian Ventura, a second year sociology major at DVC
, was one of the students who attended.

I am currently applying for DACA and it has been a couple of months that Ive been working on this, said Ventura. Its been very hard.

Pulling together all of the necessary documents to submit a successful application was difficult, she said. Her experience mirrored the challenges that thousands of people like her continue to face. But working with people who know about this, and who are there for you, definitely makes it easier and a little less nerve-racking.

Last month, on his first day as president, Joe Biden promised Obama-era DACA policy would stay put as he asked Congress to adopt legislation giving DACA recipients permanent legal status and a path to citizenship.

One of the Dreamers Conference workshops, DACA is Back, Now What? was hosted by Maria Dorado, an International and General student counselor and one of the directors of the PUENTE Program at DVC. Among the speakers she introduced in the workshop was Isabel Lara.

Lara has worked for the Mt. Diablo Unified School District for 18 years. A Contra Costa board member, Lara has been working with school administrators, teachers and community agencies to provide support to students and parents as they seek help applying for DACA. She said she encourages students to persevere through the long process and challenges of obtaining DACA status, and understands there may be times when they want to quit.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Joe Biden said Russian President Vladimir Putin will face consequences for directing efforts to swing the 2020 U.S. presidential election to Donald Trump, and that they would come soon.

"He will pay a price," Biden told ABC News in an interview that aired on Wednesday. Asked what the consequences would come, he said, "You'll see shortly."

His comments come after a U.S. intelligence report on Tuesday bolstered longstanding allegations that Putin was behind Moscow's election interference, an accusation Russia called baseless.

At the same time, Biden noted that "there's places where it's in our mutual interest to work together" such as renewing the START nuclear agreement, adding that the two leaders have a known history.

"I know him relatively well," Biden said, adding that "the most important thing dealing with foreign leaders in my experience ... is just know the other guy."

Of Putin, Biden said he does not think the Russian leader has a soul. Asked if he thought Putin was a killer, he told ABC: "I do."

Trump Blasts Biden's Tax Hike As "Globalist Betrayal"

Authored by Steve Watson via Summit News,

After Joe Biden proposed a huge tax hike to pay for a $2-3 trillion spending spree, President Trump blasted it as a "globalist betrayal" and a "cruel and heartless attack on the American dream."

Despite promising not to raise taxes for middle class Americans, Biden's latest Spending proposal will likely effect people at the earning threshold of $200,000 per year, with the White House now suggesting that the previously announced $400,000 threshold for tax increases applies only to families, and not individuals.

Trump labeled the hike as "a massive giveaway to China, and many other countries, that will send thousands of factories, millions of jobs, and trillions of dollars to these competitive Nations."

Castro dumped thousands of communists along with the criminals on American shores ....
To Be clear -  Along with the ANTICOMMUNISTS

Fidel Castro called them gusanos ("worms"), escoria ("trash"), and more recently, "the Miami Mafia." Of all the aspects of the Cuban Revolution, none has had a greater impact on America than the immigration of over one million Cubans to the United States. Settling mostly in Miami, but also elsewhere, Cuban Americans have created a wealthy, successful, politically influential immigrant society. As wave upon wave of immigrants rebuilt their lives after the traumatic experience of the revolution, they recreated and reinterpreted Cuban culture in a new homeland, blazing a path that led to the transformation of Miami into a Latin American city. Along with other Latinos — immigrants and U.S. born — they have brought a Latin flavor to American shores.

Eventually this even led to the emptying out of all of Castro's prisons of the criminally insane and other high risk felons and the sending of them to Miami, a place where once people spoke English. Jacob Javits was aided and abetted in this cultural onslaught against a European heritage country by Leo Pfeffer, former President of the American Jewish Congress, Norman Podhoretz, and Emanuel Celler, all Jewish.

Justin Trudeau is Fidel Castro's  son.... and given the close relationship Castro had with the elders of the Trudeau family, it's plausible to say the least.

DNA test to prove Justin Trudeau is the son of Fidel Castro

Justin Trudeau is at the head of the Canadian government. Ever wonder why he cried so much when Castro died, why he praised a mass murderer so much? How can we let someone with that state of mind and belief dictate laws for Canadians?

His actions directly impact on our lives. Every stupid decision he makes. You heard him praise the Communist regime of China and the way he welcomes jihadis to come and murder us.

Is that what we want to embrase; a man who values Communism and islam?

We want a DNA test to prove Justin Trudeau lied to Canadians about his origins
. We want him out of Canadian politics for good.

Biden on Second Amendment gun rights: 'No amendment is absolute'

President Biden on Thursday, in rolling out a set of executive orders on gun control, said "no amendment is absolute," while maintaining that "nothing" he is recommending "impinges" on the Second Amendment.

"Today we're taking steps to confront not just the gun crisis, but what is actually a public health crisis," Biden said from the White House.

The meeting was organised by a member of the Rothschild family
Jack Hadfield by Jack Hadfield
April 12, 2021

Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, a Yale University management professor who helped organise the meeting along Lynn Forester de Rothschild, described the gathering as "an enthusiastic voluntary statement of defiance against threats of reprisals for exercising their patriotic voices." Sonnenfeld claimed that the corporate leaders recognised that "they need to step up to the plate and are not fearful of these reprisals":

The meeting of 90 CEOs and another 30 invited corporate leaders and experts included a number of extremely prominent attendees, such as: news tycoon and son of Richard Murdoch, James Murdoch; Doug McMillion, the CEO of Walmart; Doug Parker, CEO of American Airlines; Reid Hoffman, CEO of LinkedIn; Bob Bakish, president and CEO of ViacomCBS; Arthur Blank, owner of the NFL's Atlanta Falcons.

Joe Biden also supported a move from the MLB to relocate its All-Star game out of Atlanta as a response to the legislation. The meeting suggests that these current efforts will massively expand.

Woke Capitalism Revs Into High Gear: 90 CEOs Gather to Fight 'Undemocratic' Voter Integrity Laws

Nearly 100 of America's top corporate leaders and CEOs gathered both in-person and virtually on Saturday to strategize ways to combat new election integrity laws like Georgia's H.B. 531. Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, a Yale University management professor who helped organize the meeting, framed it as a response to threats of reprisals after Georgia-based companies like Delta Air Lines, Coca-Cola, and Aflac Insurance condemned the Georgia bill. He called election integrity measures "anti-undemocratic."

To launch the CEO meeting, Sonnenfeld teamed up with Lynn Forester de Rothschild, the founding partner of Inclusive Capital Partners — a left-leaning investment manager — and Leadership Now, a group of Harvard University alumni and corporate leaders that claims to focus on sustaining democracy.

"We invited 120 CEO's with about 50 hours notice. We were praying for 25 and we got 90 CEO's and another 30 invited guests including legal experts, technology experts and historians," Sonnenfeld told CBS News. He said the CEOs united to combat the backlash that Delta and Coca-Cola faced.

"These CEOs said, 'Enough of that, we're going to come together and reinforce our fellow CEOs.' It was a statement of affirmation that the voice of business in the political world is worthwhile," he said.

Another Leftist Narrative Collapses As Chief M.E. Confirms Sicknick Had 2 Strokes, Died Of Natural Causes

Remember this from The New York Times on January 8th...

"Mr. Sicknick, 42, an officer for the Capitol Police, died on Thursday from brain injuries he sustained after Trump loyalists who overtook the complex struck him in the head with a fire extinguisher, according to two law enforcement officials."

And how it was peddled as fact, not pure speculation, rumor, or fantasy and parroted by every NeverTrumper as confirmation that Trump's action led to the "murder" of a Capitol policeman.

    — Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) April 19, 2021

As a gentle reminder, a month later, NYTimes quietly retracted that claim:

UPDATE: New information has emerged regarding the death of the Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick that questions the initial cause of his death provided by officials close to the Capitol Police.

And remember how a few weeks after that the officer's mother said in an interview that the family also remained in the dark, though they believed that being bludgeoned was not the cause of death.

"He wasn't hit on the head, no. We think he had a stroke, but we don't know anything for sure. We'd love to know what happened," said Sicknick's mother, Gladys Sicknick.

And at the same time, no lesser establishment tool than FBI Director Christopher Wray refused to tell senators Sicknick's cause of death. Wray claimed an "ongoing" investigation into Sicknick's death (two months after the officer's death!)

"I certainly understand and respect and appreciate the keen interest in what happened to him — after all, he was here protecting all of you. And as soon as there is information that we can appropriately share, we want to be able to do that. But at the moment, the investigation is still ongoing," Wray said at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

"We're not at a point where we can disclose or confirm the cause of death."

The Washington Post reported today that the D.C. chief medical examiner has ruled that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick suffered two strokes and died of natural causes the day after he took part in defending the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riots.

Medical examiner Francisco J. Diaz, in an interview with the Post, said that Sicknick's autopsy did not find any evidence that the 42-year-old officer suffered an allergic reaction to the chemical substance, which Diaz said would have caused Sicknick's throat to seize.

Diaz also said there were no indications of internal or external injuries.

And just like that, another lie is exposed...

You mean to tell me that yet another narrative peddled and used by corrupt Democrat media to seize power and criminalize their opposition was a complete lie? I'm shocked. https://t.co/sKGVp9VZQO
    — Sean Davis (@seanmdav) April 19, 2021

It's sick how they used Sicknick's death to try to cast every Trump voter as an extremist. Most never went inside that day. Rarely discussed is the fact Sicknick was also a Trump voter. Dems used his death anyways to smear a whole movement of people just like Officer Sicknick.
    — Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) April 19, 2021

Glenn Greenwald, in his inimitable manner, raged eloquently at the lies...

These people never gave the slightest shit about Brian Sickick. He was a toy to them: they needed to create a lie about how he died because he was the only one they could claim was killed by pro-Trump protesters. So they invented a harrowing story that was complete bullshit.
    — Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) April 19, 2021

| - - - - -

The Media Lied Repeatedly About Officer Brian Sicknick's Death. And They Just Got Caught

It was crucial for liberal sectors of the media to invent and disseminate a harrowing lie about how Officer Brian Sicknick died. That is because he is the only one they could claim was killed by pro-Trump protesters at the January 6 riot at the Capitol.

So The New York Times on January 8 published an emotionally gut-wrenching but complete fiction that never had any evidence — that Officer Sicknick's skull was savagely bashed in with a fire extinguisher by a pro-Trump mob until he died — and, just like the now-discredited Russian bounty story also unveiled by that same paper, cable outlets and other media platforms repeated this lie over and over in the most emotionally manipulative way possible. Just watch a part of what they did and how:

As I detailed over and over when examining this story, there were so many reasons to doubt this storyline from the start. Nobody on the record claimed it happened. The autopsy found no blunt trauma to the head. Sicknick's own family kept urging the press to stop spreading this story because he called them the night of January 6 and told them he was fine — obviously inconsistent with the media's claim that he died by having his skull bashed in — and his own mother kept saying that she believed he died of a stroke.

But the gruesome story of Sicknick's "murder" was too valuable to allow any questioning. It was weaponized over and over to depict the pro-Trump mob not as just violent but barbaric and murderous, because if Sicknick weren't murdered by them, then nobody was (without Sicknick, the only ones killed were four pro-Trump supporters: two who died of a heart attack, one from an amphetamine overdose, and the other, Ashli Babbitt, who was shot point blank in the neck by Capitol Police despite being unarmed). So crucial was this fairy tale about Sicknick that it made its way into the official record of President Trump's impeachment trial in the Senate, and they had Joe Biden himself recite from the script, even as clear facts mounted proving it was untrue.
