Assassination of Olof Palme

What utter bullshit . . .  lone gunman, not a conspiracy, blaming a corpse who can not defend himself, little to no evidence.

Swedish police believe they've SOLVED 1986 murder of PM Olof Palme – but 'Skandia Man' gunman has died and will never face justice

* Swedish prosecutors revealed the identity of the man who killed Olof Palme
* Stig Engström, a graphic designer, fatally shot Palme in 1986, they announced
* However the case will be closed without charge because Engström died in 2000
* Engström - known as Skandia Man because he worked at Skandia company offices near the scene - had been a suspect but was never formally charged

Swedish police have named the man they say fatally shot Prime Minister Olof Palme in 1986, but have closed the case without charge because the suspect is dead.

From the comments section,

So an office worker just happened to be carrying an illegal hand gun to work which could fire the type of bullets not available in Sweden, and just happened to bump into the PM on an unplanned visit to the cinema.....plot would be rejected for a crime fiction series even

Come to think of it, being a Prime Minister or President is still a remarkably high risk occupation. They seem to have a death rate well above average, yet remarkably we are all told to ask no questions.
