Machiavelli: The Prince

I read this years ago, but just got a nice copy last weekend at a local bookstore to keep forever. You know, the bookstores with that smell and look, and without a large business chain name on the front? They got that staircase in the back that brings you to a floor you didn't know was there before. They also have a local history section. I beg of y'all to frequent these places.

Also went to a magickal store and got some books there. Finally got a copy of Blavatsky's, The Secret Doctrine. There's suggestions in The Prince for why I do these things. The Art of War by Sun Tzu has the same suggestions, albeit an inferior title. The Art of War by Machiavelli is especially amazing as well; particularly if you're a fan of Roman/medieval/Byzantine/Italian history.

A Tale of Two Cities is coming up on my list. I've heard great things about that one.
